NBE will conduct FMGE 2021 December session exam on December 12 in computer-based mode at designated centres across the country. Read the article to know important details about what need to carry and what not at the FMGE 2021 Centre.

FMGE 2021 December session

FMGE 2021 December Session exam will be conducted on Sunday, December 12. The exam will be held in computer-based mode in two session, morning and afternoon. The timing for the morning session is 9 am to 11:30 and the afternoon session is 2: 00 pm to 4: 30 pm.

The admit card has already been issued for FMGE 2021 December session on December 6. Candidates have to download FMGE 2021 admit card from the official website, nbe.edu.in and paste a recent passport size photograph on it. The hall ticket must be carried to the FMGE centre else candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Candidates are advised to read the exam-day guidelines and other important details given on the admit card.

As per the FMGE pattern 2021, the test paper will comprise a total of 300 multiple choice questions, divided into two sections, A & B. Candidates will be given 150 minutes to solve each each section. As per the marking scheme, for each right answer candidates will get one mark. There will be no negative marking for wrong response.

FMGE 2021 Exam December session: What Candidates Should Know

Candidates are advised to reach at the centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. They are advised to arrange the important documents including the admit card a day before the exam to avoid last-minute hassles. In the wake of COVID-19, candidates should carry the face mask and follow COVID-19 guidelines at the centre.

FMGE 2021 Exam-Day Schedule

The entry for the morning session will start at 7 am and 12 pm for morning and afternoon sessions respectively. Entry will be closed after 8:30 am for the morning session. Candidates can check the table below for the allocation of time for the Exam.

Things to Carry at FMGE 2021 Centre

Candidates must not forget to carry the items given below otherwise exam official will not allow them at the premises:

  • Candidates must carry a print of admit card with photograph pasted on it.

  • They must bring original copy of one of the identity proofs such as Pn Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card.

  • In case someone brings e-Aadhaar as a proof of the identity, it must be good quality coloured print out with clear picture of the candidate.

  • Candidates without valid ID proof shall not be allowed to enter the examination premises.

Things Not to Carry at FMGE 2021 Centre

The following items are not allowed at the exam centre and candidates are advised not to carry with them:

  • Stationery items like textual material (printed or written), notes, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, and others.
  • The electronic device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Calculator, Electronic Pen/ Scanner.
  • Ornaments like bracelets, Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/ Necklace, Pendants, Necklace with pendants.
  • Any eatable item opened or packed including soft drinks, water bottle.

Yes, 3 months is enough if you study properly for the FMGE exam. Focus on difficult topics and revise important topics again and again. Practice MCQs every day and give mock tests regularly to see your mistakes.

The most scoring subjects in FMGE are Medicine, Surgery, OBG, and Community Medicine. These four subjects give more than 120 marks. Many questions come from these subjects in every exam. If you prepare these well, you can easily pass FMGE

FMGE has two papers. Both papers have different subjects.

The FMGE cutoff is released once the FMGE results are released. Once the FMGE cutoff is out, those who beat the cutoff list will be called for the counselling process. Students must score a minimum of 150 out of 300 to be able to beat the cutoff.

The FMGE exam has 300 MCQs worth 300 marks. Each correct answer gives 1 mark, and there is no negative marking. The exam is divided into two sections, Part A and Part B; each section is of 2 and a half hours. To pass, one must score 150 out of 300.

There is currently no limit on total number of attempts for FMGE. You can appear for as many sessions as needed. Very soon, National Exit Test (NExT) will replace FMGE exam. It may introduce new regulations regarding attempt limits once implemented. As of now, no limit for re-attempts.
