The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams will begin on February 15, 2025, providing students ample time for preparation and planning.

The Ministry of Education has clarified that there will be no change in the CBSE Board exam schedule for Ladakh, despite appeals from parents and education officials to shift the exams to November-December due to extreme winter conditions.

In response to a parliamentary query by Mohmad Haneefa, Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary stated that the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams held in February-March 2024 in Ladakh were conducted successfully with necessary arrangements by schools and the UT administration. He confirmed there is no proposal to alter the CBSE Board exam 2025 timeline specifically for Ladakh.

Uniform CBSE Board Exam Schedule

CBSE, which oversees over 30,000 affiliated schools across India and in 26 countries, will conduct the annual board exams from February 15 to early April. Winter-bound schools, including those in Ladakh, follow this schedule with localized adjustments to address climatic challenges.

CBSE Board Exam 2025 Date Sheet Announced

The date sheet for the CBSE Board Exam 2025 was released on November 20, 86 days ahead of the exam commencement. The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams will begin on February 15, 2025, providing students ample time for preparation and planning.

Class 10 Exams: Start with the English paper on February 15 and conclude with subjects like Computer Applications and Artificial Intelligence on March 18.

The early release of the timetable reflects CBSE’s commitment to transparency and efficient academic planning, ensuring a smoother experience for over 40 lakh students appearing in the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams. The Ministry of Education reassured stakeholders of continued efforts to provide a conducive examination environment across all regions, including challenging climates like Ladakh.
