UP Board Exam 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is set to commence the evaluation of the UP Board Class 10 and 12 exams for the 2025 academic session. UP Board Exam 2025 Evaluation Centers: Dates, Timings, and Guidelines
The evaluation of students' answer sheets will be conducted at designated evaluation centers across the state. The centers will operate from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The UP Board has issued comprehensive guidelines to exam controllers, aiming to ensure a transparent, secure, and efficient evaluation process. These guidelines focus on access control, surveillance, and proper conduct during the evaluation.
UP Board Exam 2025: Key Guidelines for Exam Controllers
To ensure that the evaluation process remains secure and transparent, UPMSP has laid out a set of strict instructions for exam controllers:
- Access Control: Designate responsible personnel at the entrance to monitor entry and prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing the evaluation centers.
- Surveillance: CCTV cameras must be installed in all evaluation rooms for continuous monitoring.
- Personnel Management: Ensure the chief examiner's presence along with all designated examiners. All examiners must have appropriate seating arrangements.
- Examination Integrity: Ensure that identification cards are issued on time and that the answer sheets are properly filled out before evaluation. Only authorized personnel should be involved in the evaluation.
- Mobile Phone Restrictions: Mobile phones and other electronic devices will be prohibited for both chief examiners and examiners within the evaluation rooms. Photography within the evaluation rooms will also be restricted.
- Dual Evaluation Process: A dual evaluation will be conducted for 5% of the answer sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Daily Records: Daily records of evaluated answer sheets must be submitted to the controller and the Secondary Education Council.
- Additional Personnel: If needed, additional assistant examiners or examiners will be appointed, and they must be qualified for the subjects they are evaluating.
- Cleanliness and Security: The evaluation center must maintain cleanliness on a daily basis, and all staff members are required to securely store their mobile phones in designated areas.
UP Board Result 2025: Past Trends
The results of the UP Board Exams 2024 set a high benchmark for students across the state. The overall pass percentage for Class 10 (high school) was an impressive 89.55%, while the pass percentage for Class 12 (intermediate) was 82.60%.
In terms of gender performance, girls outshone boys by a margin of 7.35%. The Topper for Class 10 in 2024 was Shubham Verma, while Ishu Chaudhary secured the second position in the same category.
The UP Board exams for 2024 were held from February 22 to March 9 at a total of 8,265 centers across the state. The answer papers were evaluated between March 16 and 30, 2024.
With the evaluation process for the UP Board Exams 2025 beginning soon, the UPMSP is committed to ensuring a fair and efficient system for assessing students’ performance. As the evaluation staff begins its work from March 19, the board has set high standards for security, transparency, and accuracy, guaranteeing that the results will be reflective of students’ true capabilities.
UPMSP is expected to release the final UP Board Class 10 result 2026 in the last week of April 2026. At least a day before releasing the result, the board will announce an exact UP Board class 10 result date 2026. In 2025, the UPMSP 10th result 2025 was released on April 25, 2025 at 12.30 pm.
In order to improve their pass percentage, UP Board started the 'Grace Marks Policy'. Grace Marks Policy is prepared for students who perform poorly in one or two subjects in UPMSP class 10 and 12 exams. In case any student fails in any subject by 2 or less than 2 marks in 10th, 12th result 2026 UP Board, then the board uses its grace marks policy. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad passes such students by giving them grace marks. Every year, thousands of students benefitted with the Grace Marks Policy.
