IIT Delhi Partners with Systra Group

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) and Systra Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to drive research initiatives that support sustainable development goals. This MoU will enable IIT Delhi scientists and Systra Group to explore technological advancements in areas such as Intelligent SCADA for Rail Traction Power Optimization, EV First/Last Mile Connectivity, and Seismic Analysis & Design of Underground Structures.

The partnership between IIT Delhi and Systra underscores their commitment to advancing technology, fostering industrial growth, and promoting sustainability. IIT Delhi faculty Prof. Arpan Chattopadhyay (Electrical Engineering Dept.), Prof. Krishna Sirohi (Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management), and Prof. GV Ramana, (Civil Engineering Dept.) will lead the various research verticals identified under this MoU. 

While signing the MoU, Prof. Preeti Ranjan Panda, Dean, Corporate Relations, IIT Delhi, said, "We are pleased to embark on this partnership with Systra, a collaboration that reflects IIT Delhi's dedication to pioneering research and technological innovation. Together, we look forward to making impactful contributions to the future of technology in India."

Mr. Hari Somalraju, CEO India, Systra Group in India, said, “This collaboration with IIT Delhi, as part of our CSR initiative, reflects merging academic excellence with industrial innovation. The dynamic exchange of ideas, knowledge, and talent, which will play a crucial role in the success of groundbreaking projects and contribute to the growth of the industry”.
