Both the exams, SLAT & CLAT are based on the 10+2 level syllabus and candidates may find both the exams' difficulty on the same level. A candidate desirous of submitting his candidate to select UG programmes is also required to complete the payment process for the desired programme before the losing date for payment of the same. The candidates will have to print the SLAT admit card on the A4 size paper. The admit card will have important details such as candidate's photograph and signature along with exam centre details. Carry a valid ID proof to the exam hall for identity verification.

The same processes are followed for admission to SLS Pune, SLS Nagpur, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Noida after the release of the SLAT entrance exam. No, it is mandatory to clear the SLAT Exam to be eligible to appear in the counselling process. Candidates will be allocated a seat based on the college they choose during the counselling, and hence, without clearing the exam, it is not allowed.

Candidates who want to appear in SLAT need to know that there is only one Symbiosis Law School in North India. This Symbiosis Law School is SLS Noida. Thus, SLS Noida is one of the options for candidates who want to take the SLAT and get admission to a law college in the South. No other college in the northern states of India accepts the score of the SLAT exam. Two SLSs, namely, SLS Pune and SLS Nagpur, can help candidates get admission to these two colleges in western India. 

The total seats for BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) are shared across different Symbiosis Law Schools (SLS). SLS Pune has around 600 seats, while SLS Noida offers about 300 seats. SLS Hyderabad gives nearly 240 seats, and SLS Nagpur also has close to 240 seats. These numbers show how the SLAT 2026 seats are divided among all Symbiosis Law campuses.

SLAT does not occur twice a year, but it takes place on two consecutive dates within the same session. Candidates have the option to appear in either or both. The best attempt from the two will be considered to prepare the merit list. 

The Symbiosis Internation Law University has discontinued Writing Ability Test from the SLAT Admission Process. For the current SLAT 2026 admissions cycle, and since the 2025 cycle, the selection process is based solely on a candidate's performance in the main SLAT entrance exam and a subsequent Personal Interview (PI) round. 

No, you will not be called for the Personal Interview (PI) round for Symbiosis Law Schools if you haven't cleared the SLAT exam. Candidates must note that SLAT scores are mandatory for shortlisting.
