CUET PG Application Form 2027: Schedule, Fees & Steps to Apply Online

Candidates filling out the CUET PG application form must keep the important documents ready with them to fill the form in one go. To appear for CUET PG exam, candidates have to follow the steps shared below: 

Step 1: Registration

• Aspirants are required to register for the CUET PG 2027 exam by visiting the official portal - https://exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/ and clicking on Register Now tab.
• Enter the personal and contact details to create a password and select a Security Question and its answer.
• The username and password will be shared on the registered email ID.
• The following information is required to complete the registration process:

• • Candidate Name

  • Father’s Name

  • Mother’s Name

  • Guardian’s Name

  • Date of Birth from the drop-down box

  • Gender

  • Nationality

  • Identity Type (Select a valid Photo Identity Card type)

  • Identity Card Number

  • Present and Permanent Address

  • Email ID

  • Mobile Number and Alternate Contact Number

  • Choose Password (8-13 characters with one special character, one uppercase character, one lowercase character and one numeric character)

  • Select a Security Question and Answer

  • Enter Security Pin

  • Verify the submitted details

  • Enter OTP sent to Mobile Number 

Step 2: Application Process

Candidates have to log in with the system-generated Application Number and Password to complete the Application Form, including filling in personal details, applying for the Paper, choosing the Examination Cities, providing the details of Educational Qualifications, and uploading the images and documents (if any).

Below are the personal details to be filled in the application form:

• Confirmation of PwBD category

• Selecting reserved categories

• Parent’s Qualification

• Parent’s Occupation

• Annual Family Income

• Domicile State

• Place of Residence

• Medium of Studying in Qualifying Education - Class 10, 12, Graduation (School/ College name, passing marks, board name, year of passing, percentile/percentage)

• Select four exam cities in preferential order within the present or permanent address, based on which the CUET PG exam centre will be allotted

• Other Quota & Category Information and Confirmation, such as BPL, Kashmiri Migrant, Ward of Defence Personnel or Ex-Serviceman, Claim for NCC Quota, Claim for Sports Quota, Ward of University Employee

Step 3: Upload Documents

Candidates have to upload scanned images of their Photograph and Signature in the format described below.

Along with the upload of the photograph, candidates have to get a live photograph captured through a webcam during the application process. 

Step 4: Pay Application Fee

The NTA prescribes the application fee as per the category of the candidates. After completing the CUET PG registration and filling the application form, candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee. The fee can be submitted online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI modes. Processing charges and GST, as applicable, are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank Payment Gateway Integrator.

Note: The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of the fee, then candidates have to approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway (in the helpline number and e-mail given in the Information Bulletin) to ensure the successful payment or for obtaining the refund of duplicate/multiple payments.
Candidates will have to download, save and print a copy of the Confirmation Page of the CUET PG 2027 Application Form for future reference.

How to check CUET PG Application Form Status?

After filling and submitting the application form and paying the online registration fee, applicants should check and confirm the final status as "Submitted". In case the fee is not paid or the form is not submitted properly, the status will be displayed as "Not Submitted". If the candidates have not completed all the steps of the CUET PG 2027 application form and want to pay the registration fee, they will not be able to pay the registration fee.

CUET PG 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility factors decided by the Central Universities in order to apply and appear for CUET PG 2027. NTA will announce the eligibility criteria or factors in the information bulletin, which has been released along with the CUET PG application form 2027. The eligibility criteria for CUET PG are as follows:

• Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised institute
• Final year students are also eligible to apply, provided they pass the qualifying exam before the counselling process
• There is no age limit for applying for CUET PG exam. However, universities may have separate eligibility criteria regarding age limit or other factors

Note:

• For admission in Universities through CUET PG 2027, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences, etc. of the
  respective University shall be applicable.
•  As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs.
• Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying.
• Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing pass marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfil the Programme
  wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.

The NTA will also provide the facility for application correction for 2-3 days. The candidates are advised to read the University list released with the information bulletin and select the course in the participating university and select the paper code against which the desired course is mapped. 

Candidates are advised to read the official CUET PG information bulletin before filling the application form. Based on last year's notification, candidates must arrange the following documents for registration and application.

• All the Academic Certificates from which the candidates will be required to fill the percentage or CAGR
• Proof of date of Birth
• Government ID card
• All the certificates required to claim a reservation
• A scanned copy of the PWD/PwBD Certificate should be named 'Disability Certificate' and in PDF format, between 50 kb and 300 kb

The exam authority does not ask for any graduation or category certificates to be uploaded, but the candidates need to fill the details provided in those certificates.

Before starting the application process, candidates should keep the payment details handy so that there are no last-minute hassles. 

In case the payment is made but there is no application confirmation, applicants should make the payment again. In case of additional payment, the amount will be refunded to the payment source. Only after the payment is complete, the CUET PG 2027 application confirmation document will be generated. This should also be downloaded and saved till the admission process is over. 

The NTA will also provide the candidates to make corrections in the CUET PG application form. The candidates will be allowed to make changes in the registration form except personal details.

• Click on "Sign In" tab or the application form correction link.

• Then click on the login button & enter user id and password.

•  After login you can change specific details in the CUET PG 2027 Application form.

•  Save the changes and take the printout of the form for future use.
