RRB ALP 2024-25 DV & Medical Exam Dates Announced

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced document verification and medical exam schedule for RRB ALP 2024-25. Candidates have been called for DV and medical exam based on their performance in CBT-1, CBT-2 and CBAT. The medical exam and document verification will be conducted from October 13 to 21, 2025.

Candidates called for Document Verification should note that the medical exam will be conducted after completion of DV. The medical exam will be conducted at the nominated Railway Hospitals. The candidates are required to come prepared to stay for more than four days for DV/Medical examination at their own cost. Candidates are required to pay the prescribed medical fee of INR 24 only.

How to Check RRB ALP DV Dates?

The steps to check RRB ALP DV dates are given below.

  • Visit the official website of RRBs
  • Click on the ‘RRB ALP DV notice’ on the home page
  • A PDF file with the DV dates will open
  • Check the dates and save it

Empanelment of candidates at various Railway departments will be done after DV and medical exam. Allotment of candidates are done based on merit-cum-preferences. Candidates must bring the required documents for appearing in DV.

Q:   When RRB ALP Exam Dates 2025 (CEN 02/2025) will be announced?
A:

RRB ALP exam dates 2025 (CEN 02/2025) for CBT 1 will be announced soon. The CBT 1 exam of RRB ALP comprises a total of 75 objective-type multiple choice questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Reasoning, General Science and General awareness on current affairs. A total of 75 marks are allotted to the test. The duration of the test is 60 minutes.

Q:   When RRB ALP notification 2025-26 was released?
A:

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) released notification for RRB ALP 2025-26 recruitment. A total of 9970 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment process. The exam is conducted for candidates in the age group of 18 to 30 years and who have completed Class 10/SSLC. The recruitment is done for the post of Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians. This year, the age limit for ALP post has been revised. Earlier, the age limit for ALP was 18 to 28 years. The revised age limit is 18 to 30 years.

Q:   WHen RRB ALP exam was conducted?
A:

The CBT 1 exam was conducted from November 25 to 29, 2024 for ALP posts. The exam for Technician posts was conducted on December 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 28, 29 and 30, 2024. The CBT 1 exam of RRB ALP comprises questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Reasoning, General Science and General awareness on current affairs. The test carries a total of 75 marks. The CBT 2 is divided into two parts-Part A and Part B. Part A of the second stage CBT comprises 100 objective-type questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering and General Awareness on Current Affairs. In Part B, Total 75 questions are asked in the exam. This part is qualifying in nature and comprises questions from the trade syllabus prescribed by the Director General of Employment & Training (DGET).

RRB ALP city intimation slip 2025 for CBT 1 was released on November 15, 2024. Usually, the city intimation slip is released 10 days before the exam. To download the city intimation slip, candidates need to enter the required credentials. The city intimation slip comprises the details related to the exam city. Knowing the city intimation slip, candidates can make their travel arrangements accordingly.

Q:   Are calculators allowed in the RRB ALP exam?

Candidates are not allowed to carry calculators for RRB ALP exam. A:

Candidates need to produce one photo-identity proof along with RRB ALP admit card. The candidate should also produce an identity proof such as voter ID, Aadhaar card, passport copy or driving license at test center. Candidates without the photo-identity proof will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates need to carry both original and photocopy of the identity proofs.
