BHU BTech course of UG level is four-year long. The mode of study is full-time. Candidates wanting to apply for BHU BTech course admission need to take the CUET exam. Banaras Hindu University BTech is offered in different specialisations. It is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. BHU BTech admission is done as per CUET exam scores. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can go to the CUET website to apply.

BHU BTech Admission Dates 2025
Since last year, the university has been selecting candidates to the UG course based on merit in CUET-UG. Thus, the students should stay updated with the CUET-UG dates for BHU. Any caste, region, religion students can apply for admission to various courses at BHU. Any caste student must fulfill the eligibility criteria and take admission. 1: BHU BTech Application Process
The applications are accepted in online mode by the university. Students should fill all the details carefully. The application fee of INR 650 (General/ OBC Category)/ INR 550 (SC/ST Category) also has to be paid. The application process consists of the following steps:
- Go to the website of CUET-UG and click on the 'New Registration' tab.
- Fill the application form.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature.
- Select courses and Universities as per your preference and pay the application fee.
2: Selection Process
Candidates are shortlisted by the university based on CUET scores. Shortlisted students have to go through a counselling round for seat allotment.
3: Admission Confirmation
The students who get selected need to submit important documents and pay the course fee. Fee payment is necessary for seat confirmation. BHU BTech tuition fee ranges from INR 37,300 to INR 10 lakh. Banaras Hindu University is one of the oldest universities. It should be a good opportunity to study here. BTech CSE course is available on the university main campus. Candidates need to upload scanned copies of a few documents during the registration procedure. The documents must be in PDF / JPEG format. Below is the list of documents.

BHU has a dediacted placement cell which invites prominent companies for the placement drives. During the Banaras Hindu University 2025 placement drive, more than 65 companies participated. Some of the eminent recruiters during the 2025 placements included Cognizant, Genpact, Adani Wilmar, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, KPMG, etc.
BHU admission to most of the courses is entrance-based, hence it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams to get admission to BHU undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The university also accepts other entrance exam such as NEET, GATE, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Hence, aspirants need to appear for the accepted entrance-exam and also meet the course-specific eligibility for admission at BHU.
If any candidate is unable to receive the OTP, they should try resending or reloading the sent OTP. Wait for atleast 15-20 minutes or change the current netword settings. If this does not fix the problem of OTP not getting loaded, try using a different Email Id or phone no.
BHU accepts CUET-UG scores for admission to several UG courses. Candidates seeking admission to BHU must apply online to register themselves. Follow the step-wise admission process as given below:
- The BHU application process is conducted in online mode through the official website of NTA (nta.ac.in). The fee for General category students is INR 750, INR 700 for OBC-NCL/EWS, and INR 650 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender.
- Candidates need to download the admit card by visiting the official website of CUET 2025 and clicking on 'Download CUET Admit Card'.
- After the declaration of the CUET result, students seeking admission to BHU UG courses are required to apply online for CUET-UG Counselling on the BHU UG admission portal.
- Further, candidates are required to participate in an online counselling process for provisional admission to the course (s). After that, the final seat allotment will be done by BHU.
M.D. cutoff is based on NEET PG scores for admission to the MD and MS courses. As per NEET PG cutoff the Round 1 closing ranks for top courses including MD in Radiodiagnosis closed at 159 and MD in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy closed at 388 for the General category All India candidates. Also, NEET PG was concluded after the release of the Round 5 Seat Allotment.
