If you want a good package, then you should join this college.
Placements: Almost 95-96 percent of students in electrical have been placed. The highest package given is 1.2 crore per annum, which was in the field of cybersecurity. The lowest is around 12 LPA, and the average package is around 27 LPA, while the median is around 30 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Texas Instruments, Microsoft, and Nvidia. Around 50 percent of students from electrical engineering grab an internship. Specifically, this year, 55 students got an internship. [8 core and rest non-core ] Top roles include SDE, cybersecurity, VLSI designer, etc.
Infrastructure: Sometimes there is a problem with Wi-Fi connectivity in our hostel rooms. The library is very good, and it contains all types of books that are required. Classrooms are okay. Labs are very good, but some of the equipment has mechanical errors. The medical facility is excellent. Food quality depends on which type of mess you have joined, like in a sattvik mess, where Jain food is served, the quality of food is excellent compared to other messes. The sports facility is also very good. The canteen also provides good food.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, and they are also very down-to-earth, as they help every student in need. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready if they have to go to core jobs on the side. If we attend all classes and make notes, then there will be no difficulty in passing the exams. Almost 94 percent of the students pass the course.

Absolutely satisfied with my college IIT BHU because of facilities and good placement in 2026.
Placements: In the electronics branch, the placement percentage is approximately 81 percent. The highest package is 90 LPA, the lowest is 7.5 LPA, and the average is 23.5 LPA. Top companies are Google, Microsoft, and Nvidia. 40 percent of students got internships in core jobs, where the major company was Nvidia, and a few also got internships in SDE. Roles include VLSI, embedded systems, and PCB.
Infrastructure: The facilities are very good at IIT BHU. Wi-Fi covers the entire campus, and classrooms are fully modernized. There are 4 lecture theatres in our college. For freshers, IIT BHU has the best hostel among all IITs, named PC Ray Hostel, which covers all required infrastructure and is newly made, so it looks aesthetic as well. There are 3 huge grounds in IIT BHU, which cover facilities for all sports. We have SAC for indoor games and a newly made gym, which is the biggest sports auditorium as well.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good, though not as awesome as JEE teachers. The course curriculum is relevant too. Semester exams are decent, and the difficulty level is good. I chose Electronics Engineering because it is the backbone of modern technology, from AI hardware to communication systems. At IIT BHU, the best thing is the 'Open Lab' culture and the technical societies. I’ve already started diving into circuit design, where I’ve learned that relying on nodal analysis is often more reliable than mesh rules when dealing with the complex, multi-source branches common in advanced electronics.
Other: Living in Varanasi offers a unique blend of heritage and high-tech education. The campus is vast and green. I’m particularly excited about joining the Club of Electronics (the technical club under the SNTC), which provides a great platform for freshers to work on robotics and embedded systems projects.

Very good college ancient college in India.
Placements: In the placement of the current batch, there are 87 companies that offered internships to students. Major companies like Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia, Goldman Sachs, Rubric, VISA, ThoughtSpot, Axxela, American Express etc. The highest package of our college is 2.20 Crore at present year and the average package of the college is 22 LPA. There are 1128 students placed in the present year. The percentage of students getting placements is about 80 percent.
Infrastructure: There is a wide range of books available in our college. The variety of books is very nice. There we get books of spirituality, competitive exams, novels, biographies, self development and many more. The classrooms of our college are decent. The facilities is vey nice. The sports facilities in our college are excellent. There are 23 sports that are introduced in our college. In our college there are multiple clubs for the interests of every individual in our college. Our hostel is the newly built in our college. In our hostel there are 10 floors.
Faculty: The faculty to student ratio is 1/22. The faculty to student relationship is good. We approach faculty by doing mail on their mail inbox to ask any doubt or we can ask doubts after the class. All the faculty members are good. I like all of them. All faculty members are best in their respective subjects. There are two exams in our college, one is mid semester and another is end semester exam in one semester. The difficulty of exams is hard. Almost all students pass the exam but a few of them fail in exams.

Our college is nice we love it.
Placements: I have no idea about the exact placement status yet. The highest package is 2.20 crores. Our top recruiting companies are all worldwide famous cooperative companies. 440 internship in the winter placement season and 240 ppo. The top role offered is os sde. Approximately 80 to 90 percent get placement.
Infrastructure: We have good food, a mess, Wi-Fi, a ibrary and a lot of things. The structure of labs and classrooms is old, it is already a bit old, but new halls are being built which are very good. Initially there are good facilities in the hostel but later on it happens that there is no water and the geyser is facility.
Faculty: Our professors here are very good, they teach very well. All the professors are well qualified and graduated. There are also good things here. Later on there is a lot of time left due to which we can concentrate more on our skill projects.
Other: The course is good but it all depends on your JEE rank, what you get and why. Now the branch change has also been topped.

IIT BHU, The best of the most.
Placements: IIT BHU is famous for its placement records. The first session of placements conclude and the average package is about 30 LPA. The highest package for this session is 1.67 crore. Almost all the top companies like Google and Microsoft come to this college. The placements are not the problem for this college.
Infrastructure: One thing in which my college lags is infrastructure. It is not as great as other IITs. They are working heavily on improving it. New hostels are being made. Canteen services are being improved. Wi-Fi is good. AC is also being installed.
Faculty: IIT is IIT because of its curriculum, its course structure, and teaching facility which makes us industry ready, therefore giving such high placements. The faculty members here are very highly qualified and skilled, some of them are very helpful. Semester exams are generally not so tough but you atleast need to study 2 weeks before the exam to get decent grades.
Other: The club culture here at IIT BHU is very amazing. A sports club any science club or any cultural club, everyone is given importance. Fests are crazy. You will have to choose which programme you want to attend because many are going on at the same time and you will be flooded. So its overall a great feeling to be here in this college.

I have an amazing experience at IIT BHU Varanasi.
Placements: Placements are too good this year. About 94 percent of students got placed last year in ceramic engineering. The highest package offered is 75 LPA, and the lowest package ranges from 6-8 LPA. The average package ranges from 21-24 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many good IT, consulting, and core firms.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good, but not so cool compared to other IITs. Day by day, infrastructure is getting better. Hostels are also getting renovated, and the new ones are quite good (for 1st and 2nd year). Mess food is obviously very good. The canteen is open till 3 AM, so it's very helpful.
Faculty: Professors and teaching assistants are always there to help us, and we can email them anytime. They are very qualified in their respective fields. The course structure has been updated recently and is very relevant. Semester exams are held twice in a semester. We can get good grades easily if we study beforehand.
Other: I personally chose this course because it is easy and relevant at the same time. It provides the choice of taking a job after completion or doing research. I want people to get aware of this course because obviously it is not about making titles or pottery, and it is way more than that. A lot of fests are held here, like Kashiyatra, Technex, Spardha, E-summit, and a lot more.
