SRM, ECE vs. Data Science.
Placements: Around 75% of ECE students got placed in 2025. The highest package in ECE is 36.8 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. Top recruiters are Samsung, Qualcomm, Nokia, Siemens, Bosch, Open-silicon, Altran, Cadence Design Systems, INVECAS, Intel, IBM, Synopsys, Micron Technologies, Amazon, KPIT Technologies India Ltd, Renault Nissan Limited, Denso International Ltd., and software companies in the ECE domain like TCS, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. There are different types of hostels you can choose from. Hostel Wi-Fi is good, but you can't play games. Each department has a good and well-equipped lab, and classrooms are good, can sit around 70students. Library is good, you can go to the library if you want to study from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The food in the mess is good and fresh.
Faculty: The faculty is good, friendly, helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, with over 10 years of experience. The curriculum are tailored by faculty and companies with a tie-up, which makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not difficult if you study.
Other: The campus is crowded.

Very good college for students who come for quality education as well as enjoyment for sure.
Placements: Almost 92% of the batch is placed with packages. Their average package is 10 Lacs per annum, and the highest is 50 Lacs per annum. All the top companies recruit from SRM. Internships are done from 2nd year only. Many companies hire students with jobs for the students. Almost all the top companies give internships.
Infrastructure: Teach Park is the main building of 13 floors, which is for the seniors, like 2nd to 4th-year students. The university building is for juniors, which contains 11 floors, 3 floors of which are the library, and the rest are labs and classes for juniors. There will be separate buildings for EEE, Civil, Chemical, and ECE students. The infrastructure of the buildings is very good. All the classes, labs, and everywhere in these buildings have Wi-Fi, which connects very fast. The hostel is also very good. There are 3, 4, 5-share rooms with and without AC in the hostels. The mess is also good, with neat seating and high-quality food with different types of food. There is a big hospital named SRM Global Hospital in the university for the students. Sports are also there, and interested students can participate in tournaments. There are 2 grounds for playing, and a swimming pool is there.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified doctors. They are so great in teaching and so helpful to students with doubts and everything. Their course is so relevant to students that they gain knowledge on the course both practically and theoretically. Thus, it makes students ready for the industry. The semester exams are a bit hard. But if you study well under the guidance of the faculty, you can score well in the exams. The total is 60 internal marks and 40 for the semester exam. The 80-mark semester paper is converted to 40 marks.
Other: The course I took is with my interest in ECE. Actually, all of the things in my course are the best. I can't specify like that. The course is already advanced, so I don't want anything to improve in my course. There will be many events and fests going on the whole year. The campus crowd is there, but it will not create any issues for us, so it's okay. The campus surroundings are with IT companies and highways. Scholarships are so good. You will have many clubs, so more internships and scholarships. There are many extracurricular activities.

SRM KTR B.Tech ECE-Data Science review.
Placements: Currently at the start of the 3rd semester as per my knowledge B.Tech ECE with Data Science has above average placement but B tech ECE has good placement. The highest package for ECE is 38 LPA and the average is 7 LPA-8 LPA. For placement you should maintain a CGPA above 7 and have above 60 percent in 10th and 12th class. Faculty members are good and the classroom is good but the place is crowded like there is a minimum of 10,000 intake each year.
Infrastructure: For my department the laboratory is well-equipped. There is 24/7 Wi-Fi in both the class and the hostel. The classroom is well air-conditioned and has a capacity of 75 students. About the library it is very good and has all facilities and it is opened till 12:00-1:00 AM for boys and for girls 7:00 PM.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and knowledgeable. They are nice and friendly. The curriculum is very relevant and picked accordingly. College makes students industry-ready and they receive special training from the 3rd year of the course. The semester exams are easy and you can score well if you do well internally.
Other: The campus is crowded but it is neat and clean.
