Goa HSSC exam pattern 2026: Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will release the Goa Board HSSC pattern 2026 on the official website - gbshse.in/#/home. Once released, students can download Goa 12th exam pattern 2026 from this page. The Goa board had announced that there will be no term wise exam from 2023-24. 

The exam pattern of Goa board HSSC exams comprises details about the question paper such as type of questions, sections in the paper, distribution of marks, etc. GBSHSE exam pattern is different for the various papers that are covered in the exam. For subjects with practicals such as Biology, Chemistry, Geography and so on. 30 marks are allotted to the practical marks while 70 marks are fixed for the theory paper. The tentative Goa HSSC time table 2026 was out in June 2025. Board exams will be conducted from February 10 to 27, 2026.

The Goa board will release the Goa HSSC exam pattern 2026 in November 2025. Students can check the Goa HSSC exam pattern 2026 on the official website, once it is out. The board paper will be of 80 marks for non practical subjects. Time duration of the exam is 180 minutes. For subjects having practicals, theory paper will be of 70 marks. Goa Board HSSC Passing Criteria 2026

Students must score at least 33% to clear the board exam as per the Goa board HSSC exam pattern 2026. The aggregate marks scored by the student must also be 33%. Students must score at least 28 out of 80 in the theory part. They must score at least 7 marks in practical exams.

In an official notification dated 13/03/2023, Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced that there will be no term wise exam from the academic year 2023- 24. There will be only one exam held in April/March. The Goa HSSC termwise exams will be discontinued from 2023-24. During the pandemic, many state boards have followed term wise exam patterns. In 2022-23 most of the boards discontinued the term wise exam except Himachal Pradesh, Goa etc.

The Goa Board HSSC exams 2026 will be held from February 10 to 27, 2026. The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) released the tentative Goa HSSC exam time table 2026. The Goa 12th time table 2026 is released on the official website gbshse.in. The Goa HSSC exams 2025 were conducted from February 10 to March 1, 2025.
