2: IIT Kharagpur University Selection Criteria 2026 & Release of Merit List
The institute shortlists candidates for admission based on their entrance exam scores. IIT Kharagpur accepts JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced for its flagship BTech course. Any student who leaves an academic program at IIT Kharagpur after the specified date, is covered by a five-tier refund policy. For admission to MBA at VGSOM (IIT Kharagpur), candidates need to qualify CAT followed by group discussion and personal interview round. The minimum CAT percentile required is 90 for general category students. For NC-OBC and SC/ ST/ PwD the minimum CAT percentile required is 80 and 75 respectively.
To be eligible for admission to MBA at VGSOM, candidates must have the following:

Sorry, but you didn't mention the course or Exam you are preparing for, as you know IIT Kharagpur is so big not because of its Campus size only but also because of Courses offered by it there are B.Tech courses, B.S, B.Ed courses, B.A courses, MBA, Law etc. also medical school is also opening in IIT
