NIFT Final Scorecard
NIFT 2026 Scorecard - NIFT Final Result has been released today for UG and PG programmes. Along with the result, NIFT Scorecard is also be released. NIFT Result is given in the form of a scorecard. The scorecard has marks of NIFT Stage 2 exam along with the Stage 1 marks. It also has ranks and final marks.
NIFT 2026 Scorecard of the FINAL results, in addition to the NIFT written exam scores, also contains NIFT scores of the Situation Test/ PI. Importantly, it also includes the merit list of the candidates in NIFT 2026. Seat allotment will be done on the basis of NIFT 2026 merit list.

The National Testing Agency (NIFT) declared NIFT 2026 Result for Stage 1 on March 20, 2026. The NIFT 2026 Scorecard was released alongside the results. The candidate can download the NIFT scorecard 2026 using their application number and date of birth. It contains the candidate's name and roll number, exam information, subject-wise marks and total marks, and the qualifying marks.

The information provided by the candidate when filling out the NIFT application form are verified by NIFT officials before any candidate is considered for admission in the first week of June.
The verification of original documents is conducted online.
Note that at the time of counseling registration, the candidate is required to upload documents.

NIFT 2026 Qualifying Status
The NIFT scorecard 2026 contains the qualifying status of the candidate in the NIFT 2026 written exam. Candidates who qualify in the written exams will have to appear next in a Situation Test/ Personal Interview. The detailed schedule for the NIFT 2026 Situation Test and Interview will be released by the National Institute of Fashion Technology on its admission portal.

NIFT Entrance Exam 2026 Tie-Breaker Policy
- If two or more candidates obtain the same marks in the NIFT 2026 exam, then the following tie-break procedure will be adopted to determine merit ranks.
- The marks scored by the candidate in tests with higher weightage will be considered to break the tie. For instance, for the B.Des program, marks obtained in the CAT exam will be compared to break the tie.
- If the CAT marks are equal, then the marks obtained in GAT will be considered.
- If the tie is still undecided at this stage, then marks obtained subject-wise in the following order will be considered: Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Analytical Ability &General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.
NIFT 2026 Exam Stats and Toppers
Currently NIFT entrance exam is conducted by the NTA. The examination conducting body releases candidate statistics along with the results. The candidate data included the number of registered candidates, candidates who appeared in the NIFT entrance exam, and qualified candidates. Additionally, it also releases a NIFT toppers list.

No, you cannot raise an objection against the NIFT Result. Objections can be raised only at the time of release of the Provisional Answer Key. Once the Final Answer Key is made, result is declared on it.
There will be three rounds of counselling in NIFT Counselling . One round of spot counselling is also expected if there are seats left.
No, candidates are not allowed with an option to change their NIFT exam centre once the admit cards for the Situation Test have been released. So, it is recommended that the candidate take care when booking a centre. Considering exam centres will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis, it is also advisable to book slots as soon as the slot booking window opens. The admit card for the NIFT Situation Test will be issued soon after the slot booking process is over. The admit card will be issued to all candidates who have qualified in the written exam.

About NIFT 2026 Entrance Exam
The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducted the NIFT 2026 written exam on February 8, 2026. The written exams comprised the GAT and CAT. The GAT is common for all courses and was conducted in a computer-based mode, whereas the CAT paper is mandatory only for the B.Des and M.Des courses and was conducted in an offline mode.
