The NTA releases the NIFT Scorecard at the time of declaration of results. It contains the sectional and total marks, and the qualifying status of the candidate. Read below, all about the NIFT Scorecard.
NIFT 2025 Scorecard - The National Testing Agency (NIFT) declared NIFT 2025 Result on April 24, 2025. The NIFT 2025 Scorecard was released alongside the results. The candidate can download the NIFT scorecard 2025 using their application number and date of birth. It contains the candidate's name and roll number, exam information, subject-wise marks and total marks, and the qualifying marks.

Candidates who qualify in the NIFT 2025 written exam (NIFTEE) will be eligible to appear in a NIFT Situation Test/ Personal Interview, which will be conducted sometime in May 2025. The FINAL Results of NIFT 2025 will be prepared by giving weightage to the written test and Situation Test/ PI. This means if a candidate doesn’t appear in the Situation Test or PI, his or her final result will not be declared.
NIFT admit card 2025 is a mandatory document to appear in the design entrance exam. Candidates need to positively carry their valid admit card for NIFT Entrance Exam to their test centre, otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for the design entrance exam. Note that the security personnel at the exam centre will check the documents carried by the candidate, including the admit and photo id cards. In fact, the candidate must safely preserve the admit card until the admission process is over. It is because the candidate may be asked to produce the admit card during the counseing and seat-allotment process.
The NIFT 2025 Scorecard of the FINAL results, in addition to the written exam scores will also contain scores of the Situation Test/ PI. Importantly, it will also include the merit list of the candidates in NIFT 2025. Seat allotment will be done on the basis of NIFT 2025 merit list.

How to download the NIFT 2025 Scorecard?
The NIFT 2025 result cum scorecard was released online. To download the scorecard, follow these steps:
- Go to the NIFT 2025 result portal
- Click on the result download link
- A log-in window will open
- Enter your application number and date of birth
- On successful log-in, you can download the scorecard

The NIFT scorecard 2025 of every candidate will carry the following information:
- The name of the candidate
- Roll and application number
- Sectional and total marks
- The qualifying status
Note that in the final NIFT result 2025, the scorecard will carry the NIFT 2025 merit rank of the candidate, instead of the qualifying status.

NIFT 2025 Qualifying Status
The NIFT scorecard 2025 contains the qualifying status of the candidate in the NIFT 2025 written exam. Candidates who qualify in the written exams will have to appear next in a Situation Test/ Personal Interview. The detailed schedule for the NIFT 2025 Situation Test and Interview will be released by the National Institute of Fashion Technology on its admission portal.
NIFT 2025 Result - Test components and weightage
The NIFT 2025 admit card for the Situation Test will be released around the 3rd week of March 2025. Meanwhile, admit cards for the Personal Interview will be released around the 3rd week of March 2025. Admit cards will be released to shortlisted candidates who had completed the slot booking/ campus selection process. The National Institute of Fashion Technology will release the slot booking schedule soon after the declaration of results for the NIFT 2024 written exams. All candidates who get shortlisted can book their slots. To download the admit card, the candidate will have to go to the NIFT admission portal, click on the admit card download link, and log in using their candidate log-in details.
The NIFT 2025 will not be sent to the candidate by email or post. Instead, the candidate has to download the admit card from the admission portal of the National Institute of Fashion technology. To download the admit card, click on the admit card download link and log-in by entering your log-in credentials. The candidate needs to take a printout of the admit card after downloading it. Note that on the day of the exam, the candidate will need a photo id proof to go with the admit card. Without admit cards, the candidate will not be allowed to sit in the NIFT 2025 exam.

NIFT Entrance Exam 2025 Tie-Breaker Policy
If two or more candidates obtain the same marks in the NIFT 2025 exam, then the following tie-break procedure will be adopted to determine merit ranks.
- The marks scored by the candidate in tests with higher weightage will be considered to break the tie. For instance, for the B.Des program, marks obtained in the CAT exam will be compared to break the tie.
- If the CAT marks are equal, then the marks obtained in GAT will be considered.
- If the tie is still undecided at this stage, then marks obtained subject-wise in the following order will be considered: Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability,
- Analytical Ability &General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.
NIFT 2025 Exam Stats and Toppers
Currently NIFT entrance exam is conducted by the NTA. The examination conducting body releases candidate statistics along with the results. The candidate data included the number of registered candidates, candidates who appeared in the NIFT entrance exam, and qualified candidates. Additionally, it also releases a NIFT toppers list. So, it is expected that when NTA declares NIFT 2025 results, it will also release the detailed exam statistics.
About NIFT 2025 Entrance Exam
The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducted the NIFT 2025 written exam on February 9, 2025. The written exams comprised the GAT and CAT. The GAT is common for all courses and was conducted in a computer-based mode, whereas the CAT paper is mandatory only for the B.Des and M.Des courses and was conducted in an offline mode.

There are a total of 19 NIFTs in India that participate in the NIFT admission process. The participating institutes offer B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M courses. Admission to the participating institutes will be on the basis of NIFT scores.

The admit card for the NIFT 2025 exam has to be downloaded online from the NTA NIFT admission portal - exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT. In.
Note that hard copies of the admit card will not be sent to the candidate.
So, the candidate needs to log-in to the admit card download portal using their log-in details and download the admit card pdf. After downloading the admit card, the candidate needs to take a printout. On the day of the exam, the candidate will have to display the admit card along with a valid photo id proof in the original. No candidate will be allowed inside the exam venue without the admit card.
Also, note that digital copies of the admit card will not be accepted.
