The NTA has released NIFT Scorecard 2026 along with the result today. It contains the sectional and total marks, and the qualifying status of the candidate. Read below, all about the NIFT Scorecard.
NIFT 2026 Scorecard - The National Testing Agency (NIFT) declared NIFT 2026 Result on March 20, 2026. The NIFT 2026 Scorecard has also been released alongside the results. The candidate can download the NIFT scorecard 2026 using their application number and date of birth. It contains the candidate's name and roll number, exam information, subject-wise marks and total marks, and the qualifying marks.
Candidates who qualify in the NIFT 2026 written exam (NIFTEE) will be eligible to appear in a NIFT Situation Test/ Personal Interview, which will be conducted sometime in May 2026. The FINAL Results of NIFT 2026 will be prepared by giving weightage to the written test and Situation Test/ PI. This means if a candidate doesn’t appear in the Situation Test or PI, his or her final result will not be declared.

The NIFT 2026 Scorecard of the FINAL results, in addition to the written exam scores will also contain scores of the Situation Test/ PI. Importantly, it will also include the merit list of the candidates in NIFT 2026. Seat allotment will be done on the basis of NIFT 2026 merit list.

How to download the NIFT 2026 Scorecard?
The NIFT 2026 result cum scorecard has been released online. To download the scorecard, follow these steps:
- Go to the NIFT 2026 result portal
- Click on the result download link
- A log-in window will open
- Enter your application number and date of birth
- On successful log-in, you can download the scorecard
Information mentioned on NIFT 2026 Scorecard
The NIFT scorecard 2026 of every candidate will carry the following information:
- The name of the candidate
- Roll and application number
- Sectional and total marks
- The qualifying status
Note that in the final NIFT result 2026, the scorecard carries NIFT 2026 merit rank of the candidate, instead of the qualifying status.

NIFT 2026 Qualifying Status
The NIFT scorecard 2026 contains the qualifying status of the candidate in the NIFT 2026 written exam. Candidates who qualify in the written exams will have to appear next in a Situation Test/ Personal Interview. The detailed schedule for the NIFT 2026 Situation Test and Interview will be released by the National Institute of Fashion Technology on its admission portal.

No, NIFT Admit card will not be sent by email or post. Candidates have to download the admit card from admission portal of National Institute of Fashion Technology. To download the admit card, click on the admit card download link and log in by entering your credentials.
NIFT Admit card will carry information given below.
Name, photograph and signature, NIFT roll number, name and address of NIFT exam centre, Exam timings, Exam date, Exam centre code, Reporting time, Exam-day guidelines.
Candidates must carefully check details mentioned in admit card and ensure that they are correct and legible. If there are any discrepancies, candidate must contact exam and get them rectified.

NIFT Entrance Exam 2026 Tie-Breaker Policy
If two or more candidates obtain the same marks in the NIFT 2026 exam, then the following tie-break procedure will be adopted to determine merit ranks.
The marks scored by the candidate in tests with higher weightage will be considered to break the tie. For instance, for the B.Des program, marks obtained in the CAT exam will be compared to break the tie.
If the CAT marks are equal, then the marks obtained in GAT will be considered.
If the tie is still undecided at this stage, then marks obtained subject-wise in the following order will be considered: Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability,
Analytical Ability &General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.
NIFT 2026 Exam Stats and Toppers
Currently NIFT entrance exam is conducted by the NTA. The examination conducting body releases candidate statistics along with the results. The candidate data included the number of registered candidates, candidates who appeared in the NIFT entrance exam, and qualified candidates. Additionally, it also releases a NIFT toppers list.

About NIFT 2026 Entrance Exam
The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducted the NIFT 2026 written exam on February 8, 2026. The written exams comprised the GAT and CAT. The GAT is common for all courses and was conducted in a computer-based mode, whereas the CAT paper is mandatory only for the B.Des and M.Des courses and was conducted in an offline mode.

Commonly asked questions
Candidate must check all the details carefully after downloading the NIFT admit card 2026. This includes checking the spelling of your name, date and timings of the exam, name and address of the allotted exam centre, etc. In case there are any discrepancies, like your name's spelling is wrong , you must contact exam officials immediately.
NIFT officials in most cases also issues a helpline for students to tackle such cases. You can call NIFT officials at this number or email them to get things sorted. Given the sensitivity of the matter, it is important that you don't wait for until too late to get the admit card issue resolved.
The information provided by the candidate when filling out the NIFT 2026 application form are verified by NIFT officials before any candidate is considered for admission in the first week of June.

Note that at the time of counseling registration, the candidate is required to upload documents.
Also, if the certificates are in any other language than Hindi/ English, then a certified translation in Hindi/ English produced duly verified by the issuing institution/ gazetted officer. If the candidate fails to produce the translation, the candidate may be denied admission.
