UCEED result 2019 has been declared today, March 1. Find out who are the toppers of IIT Bombay's UCEED 2019 exam below.
IIT Bombay has declared UCEED result 2019 in online mode on the official website of the exam. Out of 12,414 candidates who had appeared for the design entrance exam, 2,930 candidates have qualified the test. It may be noted that the number of candidates qualifying the test has significantly dipped than last year. In 2018, 11,567 candidates had taken the exam and 6,219 candidates had qualified.
As per the official notification released on the official website of the exam, Vishwaprasanna Hariharan from Thane has topped UCEED 2019 exam with Rank 1 and 213.96 score. He is closely followed by Sanat Prasad from Gurgaon who has secured Rank 2 with 208.81 score. UCEED candidate scoring Rank 3 with 203.24 score is Aditya Agarwal from Chandigarh.

UCEED Rank List 2019
UCEED rank list is prepared by the officials on the basis of marks secured by candidates in the written entrance test. However, only candidates who score the minimum prescribed marks in each section of the exam and minimum total marks are included in UCEED rank list. The minimum prescribed marks vary as per the category of candidates. Also, the official website of UCEED informs, “UCEED Committee reserves the right to decrease the minimum % of marks in each section as well as the minimum total marks such that 10×N ranks can be announced, where N is the total number of available seats.”

Candidates are informed that securing a rank in UCEED does not guarantee admission in colleges accepting UCEED scores. Candidates who have made it to the UCEED rank list 2019 need to further apply for admission by filling BDes application form on the official website of the exam. Application process for admission in BDes programmes will commence on June 8, 2019 and end on June 30, 2019.
Once BDes application process is over, three rounds of UCEED counselling/ seat allotment will be conducted for candidates who meet UCEED cutoff. Once the seat allotment process is over, UCEED admission lists will be released by IIT Bombay containing names of candidates offered seats for admission in colleges accepting UCEED ranks/ scores.

If you have biology as a subject in 10+2, then you can apply for B.Des programme at IIITDM Jabalpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.
To apply at IIITDM, you need to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 10+2.

No, you cannot apply for B.Des programme at IIT Roorkee even if you have cleared the UCEED Entrance Exam because Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects in 10+2. But you can apply for B.Des programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.
