Aspirants of BITSAT 2026 must be aware of the BITSAT shift timings. The BITSAT exam is conducted in two shifts on each exam day. Candidates can check this page to know the shift timings, reporting time for each shift and when and how to choose the BITSAT exam shift.
BITSAT 2026 Exam Shift Timings
BITSAT Shift Timings 2026: BITS Pilani will administer the BITSAT 2026 exam for session 2 from May 24 to 26. The exam will be conducted in two shifts on each day. Registered students can choose their preferred exam date and shift for BITSAT 2026 during the slot booking process. The BITSAT 2026 slot booking for session 2 will be held from May 13 to 15. Before booking their slots, candidates must be aware of the available shifts for BITSAT and then decide accordingly. The BITSAT shift timings are from 9 AM to 12 PM (Morning Shift) and 2 PM to 5 PM (Afternoon Shift).
Students first have to check the BITSAT test city allotment result before proceeding to book their slots. However, just knowing the BITSAT shift timings is not enough, and candidates should also be aware of the reporting time for BITSAT 2026. BITSAT 2026 Shift Timings
The authorities have decided three days for the BITSAT exam date 2026 for session 2- May 24, 25 and 26. The exam will be conducted in two shifts on each day. The shift timings can be checked below.

BITSAT Reporting Time
The BITSAT conducting authorities have also specified the BITSAT reporting time for both shifts. Candidates have to report to the exam centres in advance to undergo mandatory frisking and biometric verification. The authorities will also mention the BITSAT 2026 reporting time for the candidates on their admit cards. Students must reach the exam centre well before the exam begins, as no late entry is allowed.

Exam Duration of BITSAT 2026
The total duration of the BITSAT exam is 3 hours (180 minutes) for each shift. No candidate is given additional time. During this time, candidates need to answer 130 MCQs from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning.

BITSAT Slot Booking 2026
BITSAT follows a slot booking system. This means candidates can choose their preferred exam date and shift. The slot booking is done online through the official website at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. The BITSAT slot booking is done on a first come first served basis. Therefore, all students must try to book their slots early.

What Happens After BITSAT Slot Booking?
After booking the slots, the authority will randomly allot the slots for any students who missed this process. Following this, the BITSAT admit card will be released based on the slot booking. The BITSAT hall ticket will include:
