BITSAT 2026 Exam Shift Timings
BITSAT Shift Timings 2026: BITS Pilani will conduct the BITSAT 2026 on April 15 and 16 for session 1. Candidates who have registered for the exam will be able to choose their exam date and shift timings through slot booking. Before booking their slots, candidates must be aware of the available shifts for BITSAT and then decide accordingly. The BITSAT shift timings are from 9 AM to 12 PM (Morning Shift) and 2 PM to 5 PM (Afternoon Shift).
Candidates can choose to appear in the morning or afternoon shifts as per their convenience basis availability on the exam day. The BITSAT 2026 slot booking for session 1 is scheduled from March 29 to 31. The authority will announce the BITSAT test city allotment result on March 28 for session 1. However, just knowing the BITSAT shift timings is not enough, and candidates should also be aware of the reporting time for BITSAT 2026. BITSAT 2026 Shift Timings
BITSAT is conducted in two shifts each day. The BITSAT exam date 2026 for session 1 has been revised from April 15 to 17 to April 15 and 16 only. The shift timings can be checked below.

BITSAT Reporting Time
The BITSAT conducting authorities have also specified the BITSAT reporting time for both shifts. Candidates have to report to the exam centres in advance to undergo mandatory frisking and biometric verification. The authorities will also mention the BITSAT 2026 reporting time for the candidates on their admit cards. Students must reach the exam centre well before the exam begins, as no late entry is allowed.

Exam Duration of BITSAT 2026
The total duration of the BITSAT exam is 3 hours (180 minutes) for each shift. No candidate is given additional time. During this time, candidates need to answer 130 MCQs from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning.

BITSAT Slot Booking 2026
BITSAT follows a slot booking system. This means candidates can choose their preferred exam date and shift. The slot booking is done online through the official website at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. The BITSAT slot booking is done on a first come first served basis. Therefore, all students must try to book their slots early on.
What Happens After BITSAT Slot Booking?
After booking the slots, the authority will randomly allot the slots for any students who missed this process. Following this, the BITSAT admit card will be released based on the slot booking. The BITSAT hall ticket will include:
