How to Calculate Marks Using JEE Advanced 2025 Answer Key by Aakash?

To check scores using the JEE Advanced answer key, candidates must follow the exam's marking scheme. The marking scheme of the exam is displayed on the JEE Advanced online question paper.

The broad types of questions that are asked in JEE Advanced are:

  1. Single correct
  2. Multiple correct
  3. Numerical type
  4. Paragraph type
  5. Matrix match type
  6. Question stem (Paragraph type question with answer in numerical form)

There are questions of 1 mark, 2 marks, 3 marks and 4 marks. There are also questions with negative markings of -1, -2, etc. Candidates must read the instructions on the question paper properly regarding the marking scheme.

NO. The JEE Advanced final answer key cannot be challenged. The final answer key is released after the challenges against the provisional answer key is processed. The marks of the candidates for JEE Advanced result will be prepared based on the correct answers in the final answer keys.

A:

The final JEE Advanced answer key will be out with the JEE Advanced result in June 2026 at jeeadv.ac.in.

The official JEE Advanced answer keys are made available on the official website a few days after the exam ends. The candidates can check and download the official JEE Advanced answer keys PDFs to know their expected scores in the exam before the result is out.

The conducting IIT of JEE Advanced 2026 will release the JEE Advanced result on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Initially, the JEE Advanced result will be displayed on the website that will have the candidates' marks in each subject of paper 1 & 2, the total marks, All India Rank (AIR), and the qualifying status. No, candidates can not raise objections in JEE Adv result. The facility to raise objection is provided only in the answer key. It is clearly mentioned in the IIT JEE advanced 2026 information brochure that any request to re-evaluate in result will not be entertained under any circumstances.

No, same questions never get repeated in IIT JEE exam. However, questions with similar concepts can find places in the exam. The question paper of JEE Advanced is prepared considering the syllabus and exam pattern.

You will not be eligible for admission as preparatory ranks are not considered under round 1. Since you have already qualified to appear for JEE (Advanced), all you need to do is meet the second criterion and apply for round 2, which will be only conducted if seats from round 1 remain vacant.

Yes, you can still get admission in Round 2 if you meet eligibility criteria to appear in JEE (Advanced) and have a valid JEE (Mains) rank. Also, you must have scored 60% or above in class 12th. For SC/ST/PwD category students, 55% or above is required.
