How to Calculate Marks Using JEE Advanced 2026 Answer Key by Aakash?
To check scores using the JEE Advanced answer key, candidates must follow the exam's marking scheme. The marking scheme of the exam is displayed on the JEE Advanced online question paper.
The broad types of questions that are asked in JEE Advanced are:

- Multiple correct

The official JEE Advanced 2026 key will be available on the official website on May 25. The candidates can check and download the official JEE Advanced answer keys PDFs to know their expected scores in the exam before the result is out.

No, your candidature will be rejected as you need to have minimum of 75% in class 12 to be eligible for admisison to the IITs, NIT, IIITs and GFTIs via the JoSAA counselling. Even if you pass JEE Advanced and JEE Main, of you do not have 75% minimum marks in class 12 boards you will no get admissions.
The JEE Advanced 2026 cutoff will be released with the results of JEE Advanced 2026. Until then, candidates can check below the JEE Advanced cutoff from the previous years:
The JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff of the common rank list is 20.56%; 18.50% for the GEN-EWS rank list and OBC-NCL rank list; 10.28% for SC, ST, and PwD rank lists across all categories; and 5.14% for Preparatory course rank lists.
All those candidates who score above the cutoff marks in their respective categories can register for JoSAA counselling to participate in the IIT seat allotment process. Note that qualifying the JEE Advaced cutoff will not guarantee a seat in the IITs. Various factors are at play while allotting seats in the IITs. These factors include the demand for a course and IIT, the number of seats on offer, the reservation criteria, etc.
JoSAA 2026 counselling for JEE Main and JEE Advanced qualifiers has started. The entire schedule of JoSAA counselling 2026 has been uploaded on josaa.nic.in. The round 1 seat allotment result was announced on June 13 and the round 2 results was announced on June 30.
The conducting IIT sometimes send the JEE Advanced result on the email of parents and candidates are provided while registering for the exam. However, in certain year the result is not sent via email. Hence, candidates whould not wait for the JEE Advanced result on their email and check it from the official website - jeeadv.ac.in as soon as the result is out.
JEE Advanced 2026 Result
The JEE Advanced result will be announced on June 1 on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Initially, the JEE Advanced result will be displayed on the website that will have the candidates' marks in each subject of paper 1 & 2, the total marks, All India Rank (AIR), and the qualifying status. Later on, the JEE Advanced scorecard PDF will be uploaded on the official website.
