Coaching institutes have released the JEE Main 2024 4 April Shift 1 and 2 question paper, answer key and solutions PDFs. NTA has concluded JEE Main 2024 April 4 Shift 1 and 2. There are two question types in JEE Main exam. Multiple choice questions and numerical ability questions. In MCQ, every question has 4 options with only 1 correct answer. Select the correct option. In numerical ability question type, no options are there. Solve them and write answer using keyword and mouse.
JEE Main question paper is in English, Hindi and language selected when you filled application form. In total, JEE Main is in 13 languages and you can select any language out of available options. You cannot switch language of question paper during exam.
Chapterwise weightage of class 11 and 12 topics in JEE Main are mentioned below:
- Physics: Current Electricity Waves AC, Magnetism, Laws of Motion Work, Power and Energy.
- Chemistry the high weightage topics are s and p block elements, Coordination compounds, Thermodynamics Gaseous state, Chemical bonding, Atomic structure, Polymers, Environmental Chemistry Organic Chemistry.
- Mathematics, the high weightage topics are Sequence and Series Vectors and 3D, Integral and Differential Calculus, Definite and Indefinite Integral.

Steps to Calculate Score Using JEE Main 2024 Memory-Based Answer Key and Solutions
To calculate the probable secured scores using the JEE Main April 4 memory-based answer key solutions, the candidates can follow the given steps:
- First, the candidates will have to download the JEE Main 4 April answer key and solutions.
- Next, the candidates will have to compare their JEE Mains 2024 responses to the answer key.
- The marking scheme as per the official JEE Main 2024 exam pattern has to be followed.
- The total calculated marks are the probable raw scores secured in JEE Main 2024 April 4 Shift 1 and 2.
JEE Main 2024 Official Answer Key
NTA has not yet announced the JEE Main 2024 official answer key date. Candidates will be able to access the official JEE Main 2024 answer key online by logging in using the required credentials. Along with the answer key, the JEE Mains Session 2 question paper PDF will also be available. Objections against the provisional JEE Main answer key will be accepted along with the supporting proof. The authorities will prepare the final JEE Main 2024 answer key after checking all of the objections.
JEE Main 2024 Cutoff
The minimum marks that the candidates will have to secure to qualify for JEE Advanced 2024 will be released through the JEE Main 2024 cutoff. All candidates who meet the JEE Main cutoff will be eligible to participate in the JEE Advanced exam. The authorities will release the JEE Mains cutoff 2024 along with the Session 2 result. While the qualifying cut-off of JEE Main 2024 is the minimum score to be eligible for JEE Advanced, the admission cutoff will be the opening and closing ranks for admissions into the participating institutes through JoSAA.

The cutoff for Chemical Engineering at Nirma Institute is generally between 2000-2500. The competition has been increased over past three years. Earlier, students could take admissions at a rank of around 7244. Competition in Chemical Engineering is neither very high nor very low.
