JEE Main Coaching Centre Resonance will upload the JEE Main April 2024 session 2 questions and answers for the candidates for both shifts 1 and 2 for all JEE Main 2024 exams. These will be the memory-based questions and answers that Resonance will upload for the reference of the candidates. Students can use these memory-based JEE Main 2024 questions, answers, and solutions to get an idea of the difficulty level, weightage of the topics asked, etc. The memory-based questions, answers, and solutions are available on this page in PDF format for download. Candidates can also check below the JEE Main 2024 answer key and solutions for the January session.

Q:   What type of questions are asked in JEE Main?
A:

Questions in the JEE Main exam are of two types

Multiple choice questions - Each question will have 4 options with only 1 correct answer. Candidates have to select the correct answer out of the 4 available options. 

Numerical Ability Question - In these type of questions, no options are provided. Candidates have to solve the question and write its answer using keyword and mouse. Answer to these questions will be a numerical value.

Q:   Can I change the language of the question paper during the exam?
A:

Question paper during the exam will be visible in English, Hindi and the language selected by the candidate while filling the JEE Main application form. Candidates can switch the language of question paper between the default languages which is English Hindi and selected language in the application. In total, JEE Main is conducted in 13 languages and candidates have the option to select any language out of the available options. Candidates cannot switch the language of question paper between all 13 languages during the exam.

Q:   What is Chapterwise weightage of class 11 and 12 topics in JEE Main?
A:

Chapterwise weightage of class 11 and 12 topics in JEE Main are mentioned below:

  • Physics: Current Electricity Waves AC, Magnetism, Laws of Motion Work, Power and Energy.
  • Chemistry the high weightage topics are s and p block elements, Coordination compounds, Thermodynamics Gaseous state, Chemical bonding, Atomic structure, Polymers, Environmental Chemistry Organic Chemistry.
  • Mathematics, the high weightage topics are Sequence and Series Vectors and 3D, Integral and Differential Calculus, Definite and Indefinite Integral.

Candidates required a marking scheme to calculate the scores using these answer keys. The Session 2 official JEE Main 2024 Answer Key will be uploaded by the NTA at jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates can use the memory-based answer keys and solutions of JEE Mains 2024 Resonance to analyse their performance and preparations.

How to Calculate Score Using JEE Main 2024 Answer Key?

Candidates can use the steps below to calculate the scores using the answer key and solutions of JEE Main 2024:

  • Download the answer key and solution PDF of Resonance.
  • Now, check whether the answers in the answer key of Resonance match with that of your response in the exam.
  • If the answer matches, add 4 marks, and if not, deduct 1 mark.
  • Total the marks, and thus you will have a probable score of JEE Main 2024.

Q:   Where can I get previous year JEE Main question papers?
A:

Students can download JEE Main previous year question paper from Shiksha page. Candidates are provided here JEE Main previous year question papers from the year 2014 to 2023. The papers can be downloaded as PDF and can be practiced to prepare for the exam. JEE Main previosu year question paper also helps in understanding the difficulty level of the exam and chapter-wise weightage of questions. Solving JEE Main question papers will help in analyzing the preparation level of the exam. 

Q:   What is the sequence of sections in the JEE Mains question paper?
A:

As per the sequence of subject/section in JEE Main, Mathematics is the first section followed by Physics and Chemistry. However, students have the option of appearing questions from any section based on their preference. During the actual exam, students are provided the instructions on the computer screen to navigate between one section to other. Students also have the option to skip the next question without appearing the current as well as moving back to the previous question. To better understand the qustion paper, students can check the official JEE Main exam pattern mentioned in the NTA portal.
