JoSAA 2022 Cutoff for NITs was the closing ranks for the candidates after which they would not be allowed to take admission to a particular engineering stream of a college. Candidates were able to check the cutoff of NITs for BTech streams online after the counselling rounds were completed by JoSAA.
Candidates must note that the cutoff of NITs for top BTech branches was different for each institute, branch, category, state quota, and gender. The authorities prepared the NITs cutoff for top BTech branches after considering various factors related to JEE Main. The JoSAA cutoff for NITs was used for screening of students during counselling and seat allotment processes. JoSAA 2022 Cutoff for NITs: Determining Factors
While preparing the cutoff of NITs for top Engineering branches, the authorities considered the following factors:
Candidates who qualified for JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced can participate in JoSAA 2026. The JoSAA 2026 seat allotment results will be released in online mode after every round. Candidates will be allotted seats according to their merit, preferences, and availability of seats. After the declaration of the seat allotment results, JoSAA releases cutoffs separately for every round. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release Rounds 2, 3, 4, and 5 cutoffs on the official website at josaa.nic.in.
The authority will release the official schedule of the JoSAA. It is expected that the Round 5 seat allotment will be released in July 2024, and the cutoff will also be published in July 2024 (tentatively) on the official website at josaa.nic.in. The JoSAA cutoff will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks.

NIT Trichy is a government university and the admission to this university is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main. NIT Rourkela M.Tech cutoff is based on GATE cutoff followed by GATE CCMT Counselling. For NIT Rourkela cutoff 2023, GATE CCMT was concluded with the release of Round 6. A. The NTA released the minimum cut off marks to qualify the JEE Main and participated in the JoSAA counselling process. The NIT Srinagar BTech seat allotment is first done through the JoSAA counseling. The allotment of seats is based on a candidate's JEE Mains score. However, if after the seat allotment, there are still some vacant seats for the BTech course, they are filled through the CSAB counseling.
