KEAM 2024 June 7 Question Paper with Answer Key: The answer key for KEAM 2024 has been released by CEE and can be accessed in PDF format on their official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. Additionally, it is provided on this page for convenience. The window for challenging the KEAM 2024 answer key is open until June 13, 5 pm. To challenge the answer key, candidates need to submit their objections along with supporting documents and a fee of INR 100/- per question to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The fee for challenging the KEAM answer key must be paid via a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Submissions can be made either by post or hand delivery, ensuring they reach the office by the specified deadline.

How to Use KEAM Answer Key for Marks Calculation?

Candidates must utilize the KEAM 2024 marking scheme to estimate their anticipated scores in the exam. The scheme is outlined as follows:

KEAM 2024 Engineering Exam Pattern

In the KEAM exam, the question papers consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question presents five answer options, with only one being correct. Q:   How many questions will be there in KEAM?

A:

The KEAM 2024 engineering paper will have a total of 150 questions. Mathematics will have 75 questions, Physics will have 45 questions and Chemistry will have 30 questions to be answered in 180 minutes. For KEAM 2024 BPharm ONLY candidates, the Entrance Examination will have a total of 75 questions; 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry to be answered in 90 minutes.

KEAM 2024 Qualifying Marks

There are no minimum marks to qualify in the KEAM exam. However, candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

Engineering 

  • The candidates who fail to answer at least one question in the examination will be disqualified and cannot find a place in the Engineering Rank list.
  • To qualify in the Engineering Entrance Examination and thereby become eligible to figure in the Engineering rank list, a candidate must secure a minimum normalised score of 10 in the Engineering Entrance Examination. The candidates who do not secure the minimum stipulated score will not find a place in the rank list.
  • Exemption: For SC/ST candidates there is no requirement of minimum score in the Engineering Entrance Examination. However, the candidates who fail to answer at least one question will be disqualified.

Pharmacy 

  • A candidate who fails to answer at least one question in the Physics and Chemistry Sections of the Engineering Entrance Examination will be disqualified and cannot find a place in the BPharm Rank list.
  • To qualify in the Entrance Examination and thereby become eligible to figure in the rank list for admission to the BPharm course, a candidate has to secure a minimum normalized score of 10 out of the index of 300. The candidates who do not secure the minimum stipulated score will not find a place in the rank list.
  • Exemption: For SC/ST candidates, there is no requirement of the minimum score for ranking for the BPharm course. However, the candidates who fail to answer at least one question in the Physics & Chemistry sections of the Engineering Entrance Examination will be disqualified.

KEAM 2024 Cutoff

The Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala will announce the KEAM 2024 cutoff, delineating the definitive ranks round by round and category by category. CEE will release the KEAM 2024 results in the form of a scorecard accessible through candidates' logins. This year, due to the exam's administration in multiple sessions, candidates will receive normalized scores, which will be indexed to 300. These scores will be viewable on their respective scorecards. Following the results announcement, candidates will have a designated period to submit their 10+2 scores. The final KEAM 2024 rank list will be compiled based on a combination of standardized 10+2 scores and KEAM 2024 scores. Candidates who qualify in the engineering entrance exam and submit their 10+2 marks can access the results through the candidate portal. The KEAM engineering rank list will be formulated by assigning equal weightage (50:50) to 10+2 scores and normalized KEAM scores. Utilizing this rank list, CEE will allocate seats to candidates via the KEAM Centralised Allotment Process (CAP-2024). Separate rank lists will be generated for different courses, each adhering to distinct ranking criteria.

No, KEAM exam has 120 questions per paper. Paper 1 has 120 questions and paper 2 has 120 questions. There will be a total of 240 questions in the KEAM exam. The exam pattern is as follows: Exam Mode: Offline (pen-paper based), Number of Papers: 2. Paper 1 will consist of questions asked from Physics and Chemistry while Paper-II will contain questions from Mathematics, Question Paper type: Objective (MCQs), there will be 5 options against each question, Total no. Of questions per paper: 120, Marks awarded for correct answer: 4, Marks deducted for wrong answer: 1, Total marks per paper: 480, Exam duration for each paper: 2 hours 30 minutes. Questions will be asked from all three subjects Physics Chemistry & Mathematics. KEAM syllabus is based on class 11 and 12 examinations. The weightage of the subjects in KEAM will be 5:3:2 in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

There are 2 paper in KEAM. Paper 1 is Chemistry and Physics and the paper 2 is Maths. The weightage of the subjects in KEAM 2024 will be 5:3:2 in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. KEAM 2024 is an objective type exam with Multiple Choice Questions based on a single response. For each question, five suggested answers would be given, of which only one will be the most appropriate response. The candidate will have to select and mark the alphabet (A, B, C, D or E) corresponding to the most appropriate response in the OMR Answer Sheet.
