Is the MET question paper officially released?
MET question papers are not officially released on manipal.edu. Since the MET exam is held as a computer-based test, the authorities do not prepare the question papers for the candidates to access and download. However, if made available for MET 2027, then they will be available on this page.

How to use MET previous years’ question papers for preparation?
Candidates are advised to use previous years’ MET question papers while preparing for the entrance examination. Through previous year’s papers, they can understand how the examination will be held and type of questions they can expect in MET exam. During their preparation, candidates can also use the MET previous years’ question papers to practice and know their strong topics and commonly made mistakes. MET Previous Years’ Question Papers: Is there negative marking?
Yes, according to the MET exam pattern, there will be negative marking in Multiple Choice Questions. For every incorrect answer in this category, one mark will be deducted. Candidates are advised to be careful while attempting MCQs, and to mark their answer only if they are sure of it. For the Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions, no negative marking will be done.

Yes, candidates will be able to attempt MET mock test multiple times. No log in credentials are need to attempt mock test.
With proper preparation strategy and dedication, students can crack MET with self study. Since MET and board exam syllabus are quite similar, candidates can prepare simulatenously for both exams.
As per MET exam pattern, total score is 240. However, for every wrong answer in MCQs, one mark will be deducted. There is no negative marking for NATs.
Among all MET sections, students often find Mathematics section to be the most difficult to prepared. Students should check and focus more on important topics and repeated questions to prepare for Mathematics.
