The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will commence MHT CET 2021 exam for engineering admission from September 20. The exam will be conducted in online mode as Computer Based Test between September 20 to October 1. Candidates can check the exact date and time of exam in their admit cards.

The CET Cell has issued COVID-19 guidelines and exam day instructions which need to be followed at the exam centre. Candidates must check the guidelines from their admit card before they appear for MHT CET 2021.

MHT CET admit card 2021 was released on September 14. Candidates can download their hall tickets online from the official website mahacet.org or mhtcet2021.mahacet.org. MHT CET 2021 will be conducted separately for PCM and PCB groups.

MHT CET 2021 COVID-19 Guidelines
Candidates need to follow the COVID guidelines which are mentioned here. Candidates can also check these guidelines from their admit cards.

  • Candidates need to wear face mask all the time during their presence in the exam centre

  • Candidates need to maintain distance of 6-feet from each other

  • Social gathering and crowding should be avoided

  • Candidates should carry hand sanitizers with them

  • Frisking at the exam centre will be done touch free through hand-held metal detectors

  • Candidates need to carry their admit card and one photo ID to the exam centre

  • Candidates should maintain social distancing norms at exam centre

  • Candidates should not carry any prohibited item at the exam centre

  • Candidates should not wear any jewellery, sunglasses, digital watches etc. at exam centre

MHT CET Exam Pattern 2021
The exam will be conducted online as Computer Based Test. The exam will consist of two papers, Paper 1 having a total of 100 questions, 50 each from Physics and Chemistry while Paper 2 will have 50 questions from Mathematics. The total duration of exam will be 180 minutes.

MHT CET 2026 scores are used for Maharashtra State Quota admissions. For All India seats in engineering colleges of Maharashtra, JEE Main scores will be used.

MHT CET cutoff is of two types- All India Category and Maharashtra Category. The seats which are allotted under the All India Quota have opening and closing ranks mentioned as "AI" whereas seats allotted under Maharashtra Quota have the ranks mentioned as "MH".
