SRMJEE is the exam conducted by the SRM University and if you are preparing for the JEE exam than it is more than enough for you and you don't have to prepare from somewhere else. There are total of 360 marks and of 120 questions in total which has 4 sections and they are as follows: Mathematics Chemistry Physics English and logical reasoning In mathematics, mainly focus on your basics using NCERT and mainly focus on speed and accuracy. There will only be questions. In physics, prepare using HC Verma volume 1 and 2. Study through the NCERT books. In Chemistry, prepare using NCERT books and that will be more than enough. For English, prepare using NCERT books of class 11th and 12th. JEE Preparations are more than enough for SRMJEE. No one (usually) prepares for SRMJEE separately. You study for JEE give your exams book a slot for SRMJEE as per your convenience (after JEE-Main obviously) study the extra portion and practice the mock test of SRMJEE as many as possible. Just focus on speed and accuracy for SRMJEE. Just be aware of silly mistake made in questions are easy because choices are really confusing.
Students can apply from official website of GMCET - gmcet.org. To apply they will first have to register, fill details, and log in using their credentials. To successfully submit the application form, aspirants will have to pay the application fee in online mode.
The application fees of SRM for international applicants is USD 50 $. It must be noted that NR or PIO card holder need not appear in SRMJEEE. They just need to fill the application form and the selection will be based in qualifying exam scores.
The SRMJEEE application form for the 2026-27 session has been released. The application form for phase 1 and 2 is closed now. Candidates can apply for the phase 3 exam until June 30. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria can visit the official website to apply.

Details to Fill in SRMJEEE Application Form
While filling the SRMJEEE online application form, candidates will have to submit their following details carefully.
- Personal Information such as their name (as per Class 10 certificate), date of birth, gender, and religion
- Contact Details with a valid email ID (which cannot be changed later) and an active mobile number. This will be used for verification purpose
- Academic Records such as school names, board names, registration numbers, and CGPA/percentage for Class 10 and 12
- Payment Details such as Net Banking, Credit/Debit card, or UPI to pay application fee which is INR 1400 per phase. This fee is non-refundable.

What is the SRMJEEE exam?
The SRMJEEE is an annual entrance exam which is conducted to shortlist B.Tech courses at the SRMIST university. According to the SRMJEEE exam pattern, it is held in an online remote proctored method (RPOM). Candidates can appear in the exam from the comfort of their home.
The question paper will have 130 questions, and each will carry 1 mark each, making the total marks to 130. The questions will be based on subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English & Aptitude sections and there is no negative marking.
