If you have to prepare for the BITSAT exam (mainly in the last one month) you have to sacrifice your time and put more effort into it. If you are in 12th grade right now, then you have to prepare for both Boards and BITSAT.

This is the second most given exam by students after JEE MAINS. The test is held online and the total time given to attempt all the questions is 3 hours. It consists of a total of 4 sections – Physics, Chemistry, Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics. If you have to prepare for the BITSAT exam (mainly in the last one month) you have to sacrifice your time and put more effort into it. If you are in 12th grade right now, then you have to prepare for both Boards and BITSAT. Now preparing for Boards is mandatory for you. So you have to manage your time wisely and give time to boards as well as for BITSAT. As the major condition to qualify for the BITS exam is to have at least 75% to sit in the exam, so at the same time, it’s necessary to maintain board results too. The thing you need to do is follow the proper time table that is made by you and no one else, it will boost your productivity.
Basically you have to focus on the easy part first i.e Chemistry. Chemistry is the easiest part of the syllabus for both Boards and BITSAT. If you are preparing for BITSAT then you must prepare for Chemistry first as it’s easiest among both maths and physics. You first prepare for Organic Chemistry first, then you have to prepare for physics and then for maths. Also, do focus more on Maths as in the paper of BITSAT, they focus more on maths, they ask a total of 45 questions from maths side and 40 questions each from physics and chemistry part and (10 +15) questions from English and logical reasoning respectively. The examination structure of BITSAT includes a total of 150 questions. For every correct answer, you will get 3 marks but if you do a wrong question then you will lose your 1 marks, yes this time negative marking beats you if you don’t look at it carefully. If you are taking any coaching from specific coaching classes then solve their modules and do give tests regularly and most important cover all concepts of NCERT too, it would help you in organic and inorganic chemistry, as many a time exact question comes from the lines of NCERT.
In the last one month, your focus must on important topics and on those topics that you know very well. Use flow charts and diagrams to understand things better, it will help you to retain things properly. Also, do organize your study space, if it looks pretty good then obviously you don’t get bored easily. You have to make proper notes of your subject which you study, most the students thought that notes are not so important but in the end, only notes will help you in revising the same subject. The most important task is to daily solve one previous year's paper. You should solve papers on BITSAT, JEE Main of past years and it would help you a lot. Try to explain your answers to others, it will clear the concept in your mind. Sometimes the study group also helps you in learning things greatly.
