WBJEE Result 2025: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the official WBJEE result 2025. To access the result, the candidates will have to log in using their application form number and date of birth at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. It is to be noted that the result is downloadable in the form of the WBJEE 2025 rank card. Along with the result, the final WBJEE 2025 answer key has also been released. WBJEE 2026 counselling dates have not been announced yet. The qualified candidates will have to participate in the two rounds of counselling to be eligible for admissions. WBJEE 2026 counselling registration will be open online. Seat allotment result will be declared for all participating candidates.
The second round of WBJEE counselling is held to upgrade the registered candidates or freshly allot the ones who were not allotted in the first round. Only these candidates will be able to participate in the second counselling round, since fresh registrations will not be accepted.
Yes, there a self-financing institutes included in the WBJEE counselling process. In the self-financing institutes, the 10% approved seats will be open for JEE Main qualified candidates. These students do not require WBJEE scores for admission.

The given steps can be followed to access and download the WBJEE rank card 2025.
- Go to wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee
- Click on the result link.
- Candidates will have to provide their application form number and date of birth
- Click on ‘Sign In’
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- Candidates will be able to download the result in the form of a rank card for future use.
Commonly asked questions
WBJEEB conducts the WBJEE counselling process online. All qualified candidates have to register for the counselling and fill out their choice of colleges and courses. The counselling fee also has to be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No offline counselling will be held.
During second round of WBJEE counselling, candidates can go back to their previous allotment, if they are not allotted in their higher preference. If they are allotted higher preference, then their previous seat will be automatically cancelled.
During WBJEE counselling, the students who want to withdraw their admission have to complete it before the last date. If the withdrawal is not done on time, then they will not be able to get refund of the seat acceptance fee.

Which details are present in the WBJEE 2025 result/rank card?
The following information will be available to the candidates through the WBJEE result 2025.
- Name of the candidate
- Application form number
- Roll number
- Total scores
- Component scores in Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry)
WBJEE 2025 Result: Submission of Grievances
If the candidates have any grievance about their obtained scores, then they are eligible to raise a query through email. The query has to be sent through email to info[at]wbjeeb.in, within 24 hours of the result declaration. Candidates will have to attach copies of OMRs, rank card, question booklet number and its series code, question-wise calculation of the score. The authorities will also accept physical representation until noon on the next working day after the result publication. After the allotted duration, the authorities will not accept any grievances.
The candidates will also be able to request the calculation sheet from the board. A demand draft of INR 500, in favour of ‘West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board’, payable at Kolkata, has to be submitted to the board authorities. However, this facility will be available only till 60 days after the declaration of the result, or the counselling is over, whichever is over.
WBJEE 2025 Merit List
The authorities will prepare two types of WBJEE merit lists for the admission process. These merit lists will be prepared as per the marks secured by the candidates in the entrance examination.
- General Merit Rank List (GMR): The list will be prepared based on the candidate’s obtained scores in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The GMR will be used for admission to all degree-level Engineering/Technology/Architecture courses offered by all participating institutes of the state.
- Pharmacy Merit Rank List (PMR): To prepare the list, the candidate’s score in the combined paper of Physics and Chemistry will be considered. For the pharmacy course admissions, the PMR will be used by the authorities.
WBJEE 2025 Counselling
The official WBJEE counselling 2025 dates have been declared. Qualified candidates can now register for the counselling process so that they are considered for the allotment and admission process. During the counselling process, the candidates will have to register, pay the required fee and fill out their choice of colleges and courses by September 1, 2025. WBJEE 2025 seat allotment result will be declared online. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences, seat availability and category. After allotment, the selected candidates will have to confirm their admission.
