WBJEE 2026 Seat Acceptance Fee: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced details of the WBJEE seat acceptance fee 2026. Once candidates are allotted during the WBJEE 2026 counselling process, they will have to pay the seat acceptance fee as a mandatory step. Only those candidates who are able to pay the WBJEE seat acceptance fee before the final date will be considered eligible for admission. The authorities will accept only online mode of payment for the seat acceptance fee.

WBJEE 2026 counselling has commenced. The qualified candidates will have to participate in the three rounds of counselling to be eligible for admissions. WBJEE 2026 counselling registration is open online. Seat allotment result will be declared for all participating candidates.
WBJEE seat allotment result is declared online. To check allotment result, students have to select their type of registration and log in using their roll number and password. Students will not be informed about their allotment in any other mode.
The WBJEE seat acceptance fee is INR 5000 (refundable). To download the seat allotment letter, the students will have to pay the fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. If the fee is not paid, then they students will not be able to move forward with the admission confirmation process.
During WBJEE counselling, the students who want to withdraw their admission have to complete it before the last date. If the withdrawal is not done on time, then they will not be able to get refund of the seat acceptance fee.

Step 1: Online Acceptance and Fee Payment
Candidates can follow the given steps to accept the seat allotment and pay the fee.

Login: Go to wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee and log in with the WBJEE 2026 roll number and password.

Check Allotment: Candidates can view their allotment status on their dashboard.

Select Option: If candidates are fully satisfied with their college and branch and do not want to participate in further rounds, then they have to choose ‘Accept and Freeze’. If they wish to keep this seat as backup but still want to be considered for higher preferences in the next round, they will have to choose ‘Accept and Float’.

Fee Payment: WBJEE 2026 seat acceptance fee of INR 5000 has to be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI.

Download Allotment Letter: After the payment, the provisional seat allotment letter and payment receipt can be downloaded and printed out.
Step 2: Physical Reporting & Document Verification
It is to be noted that fee payment only reserves the seat provisionally. For confirmation, they will have to report physically to their allotted institute within the allotted timeline.

WBJEE 2026 Seat Acceptance Fee: Is it Refundable?
WBJEE seat acceptance fee 2026 is not refundable. However, it is certainly not an extra charge. After admission, the seat acceptance fee will be adjusted against first semester tuition. If candidates withdraw from the counselling process, then their seat acceptance fee will be refunded if they meet the required criteria and timeline.

The second round of WBJEE counselling is held to upgrade the registered candidates or freshly allot the ones who were not allotted in the first round. Fresh registrations will be accepted for Round 2.
Students with valid JEE Main scores can apply for admissions through WBJEE counselling. However, these students will be eligible for allotment only in 10% approved seats offered by self financing colleges and institutes participating in state level counselling.

To withdraw from the WBJEE counselling 2026 process, candidates can follow the steps given below.
