IMUCET Dates 2026: The exam conducting body, is accepting the IMUCET registrations for the 2026 session. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria of IMUCET 2026 can apply till the last date which is April 24, 2026. Students can apply from imu.edu.in and after successfully submitting the IMU CET 2026 application form they will be issued hall ticket to appear in the entrance test.

The IMU CET entrance exam will be held in online mode on May 24, 2026 to shortlist candidates for admission into BSc, BTech, UG Diploma, MTech, MBA, and PhD courses offered at IMU campuses and IMU affiliated colleges. Check here the IMUCET exam dates for the upcoming session.

IMU CET 2026 Exam Overview

The Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) 2026 exam will be held in computer-based mode on May 24, 2026 across various test centres to shortlist candidates for Diploma in Nautical Science, BSc (Nautical Science), and BE/BTech (Marine Engineering) courses. 

Candidates can also join MBA and MTech courses via IMU CET, or they can apply via CMAT/CAT/MAT and CUET PG/GATE/PGCET scores. Preference in admissions will be given to candidates with IMU-CET ranks. Hence, the candidates are encouraged to register for IMU CET.

IMU CET 2026 Application form Date

The authorities released the IMUCET application form in online mode on its official portal in on February 2, 2026. Students abiding by the eligibility norms set by the exam body can apply till the last date which is April 24, 2026.

No applications after the final date will be accepted. Automated e-mails/SMS will be sent to every registered applicant on successful registration of the application, uploading of the admit card, publication of results, etc.

Anyone who is minimum 17 years of age and have obtained 10+2/equivalent PCM Average with minimum 60% and minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th or 12th Examination) can apply for UG course.

For PG course anyone with BSc / BTech degree in Mechanical, Civil, Naval can apply for various programme offered under PG courses.

IMUCET 2026 Admit Card Date

The IMU CET admit card 2026 will be issued to all students who successfully registered for the exam. The hall ticket will be made available at the exam body's portal atleast 10-15 days before the exam date. Students will be able to download the hall ticket of IMUCET 2026 using their credentials. The admit card will consist of student's name, roll number, exam date, timings, venue, and exam day instructions. While downloading hall ticket, students must keep atleast 2-3 copies for a safer side in case they miss any. They will have to carry admit card to exam centre on exam day along with one valid photo ID proof like aadhar card, voter ID card, PAN card etc. Failing to do so, they will be denied entry to appear in the exam.

IMU CET 2026 Result Dates

The authorities will declare the IMU CET result 2026 online after the entrance exam is over. The IMUCET 2026 result consists of a rank list for UG, MBA, and MTech courses separately. The IMU CET 2026 rank card is also published under the respective logins of candidates. To access the rank card/result of IMU CET 2026, students must log in using their required credentials. Aspirants qualifying for the entrance exam are then called for the counselling process.

IMU CET Counselling 2026 Dates

IMU will conduct the IMU CET counselling in online mode for admission in 6 campuses of IMU. The counselling will be done after the results are successfully declared. Students shortlisted as per the results will be called to appear in the counselling, which consists of various stages such as registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, fee payment, etc. IMU CET counselling will take place in two phases.
