AME CET 2026: Application Form (OUT), Admit Card, Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET) is a national-level entrance test for the license issuance course of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. Along with that, the AME CET entrance test scores are also applicable for Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering courses in some of the approved institutes by the government bodies in India.

The online AME CET 2026 application form has been released online at amecet.in. Offline application forms are also available at designated centres. Candidates will have to provide their required personal, academic and contact details while filling out the application form of AME CET 2026. No applications will be accepted after the final date. AME CET 2026 application fee is INR 1600 for General and OBC male candidates and INR 1400 for female candidates and SC/ST male candidates. For online applications, the fee has to be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI. The offline AME CET application form can be obtained after paying the fee. AME CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The authorities have released the AME CET 2026 eligibility criteria on the official website. Candidates appearing for the exam are advised to check the official eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The AME CET eligibility criteria comprise exam details, minimum mark required, age limit and others. • Candidates should pass the 10+2 Board exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or equivalent AICTE-approved 3-year engineering diploma in any stream or any higher qualification in science with PCM at the time of admission.  
• Candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45 per cent marks in 10+2 in PCM or equivalent.  
• Candidates who are eligible for admission to B. Tech Courses are also eligible for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course.  
• Candidate age should be between 16 to 28 years at the time of admission.  
• Candidates must not have colour blindness or any physical disabilities.  
• Apart from the above-mentioned eligibility criteria, the aspirants need to showcase certain skill sets, which include subject knowledge, practical and problem-solving attitude, flexibility, and team spirit, to name a few. 

The authorities have released the official list of the AME CET 2026 exam centres on the official website. Candidates appearing in the exam are advised to refer to the AME CET exam centre list to know where the entrance exams will be conducted. The authorities have released the AME CET 2026 syllabus on the official website amecet.in. Applicants appearing for the exam must refer to the AME CET 2026 syllabus for their preparation. The syllabus of AME CET comprises important chapters and topics asked in the exam and is based on the 10+2 standard qualifying examination. The authorities are expected to release the AME CET 2026 admit card tentatively in the first week of May 2026 on the official website. Candidates will be able to check and download the AME CET admit card 2026 using their registered mobile number and password. Applicants appearing in the exam will have to carry their admit card of AME CET 2026 along with one valid photo ID proof. After downloading the AME CET admit card, the candidates must check all the details mentioned in it. In case of any discrepancy in the AME CET Hall ticket, candidates must contact the exam authorities for corrections. Applicants are not allowed to appear for the AME CET exam without the admit card.

• Enter the required details in the required fields, like registered mobile number and password. 
• Click on the ‘Submit’ tab.  
• Click on the ‘Download’ tab to download the admit card of AME CET 2026 in PDF format for future reference.
