About NTA: Conducting Body
National Testing Agency is conducting the CUET 2026 examination in multiple windows. The examination is being held for admission to UG programs of the participating universities across India. The role of NTA is confined to registering candidates, conducting the test, hosting answer keys, inviting challenges, finalising answer keys, preparing and declaring CUET results, and hosting scorecards. The role of NTA will end soon after the release of CUET 2026 results.
CUET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria to appear in the CUET 2026 exam. Failing which applicant’s candidature will stand cancelled. CUET 2026 eligibility criteria state the age criteria and educational qualification requirements.

CUET 2026 Hall Ticket
Candidates were issued the CUET admit card 2026 online. Only candidates who paid the CUET application fee were able to download the CUET 2026 admit card. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination hall without the admit card. Candidates will be given contact details in case of any discrepancy in the CUET admit card. Applicants must note that they will not be issued the CUET admit card physically.

CUET: Important Instructions to Candidates
Candidates are advised to read the instructions for CUET UG exam carefully. Any candidates not obeying the guidelines will be disqualified for admission to participating universities.
CUET 2026 Exam Cities
Cities where CUET exam is conducted will be mentioned in the CUET notification. Candidates could select four chosen cities while filling the CUET application form 2026. NTA alloted the CUET exam centre as per availability. CUET exam centre 2026 is spread across more than 306 cities in India.
CUET 2026 Answer Key
NTA will display the CUET 2026 provisional answer key soon after the all slots are over. Candidates will be able to check their response and answer key. Applicants will be able to challenge the CUET answer key by paying the fee of INR 200.
Only paid challenges will be considered for verification. Challenges without justification/evidence will be rejected.
Based on the challenges received, NTA will release the CUET final answer key soon after.
CUET 2026 Results
CUET results 2026 are expected to be announced in first week of July 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in. Only candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to download their scorecard online. CUET result 2026 will be based on the final answer key.

Since the CUET UG 2026 syllabus is in line with the Class 12 Board exam syllabus, it can be safely assumed that the NCERT books are enough to clear CUET UG 2025 exam. Candidates must note that, CUET exam tests students' understanding of the concepts and ability to apply them in various situations. DU CSAS portal 2026 will be actiavted at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. University of Delhi launchs CSAS portal 2026 in June. Candidates who will appear for the CUET 2026 exam can register at DU CSAS 2026 portal. Candidates will be required to enter the college and course preference and pay the DU CSAS registration 2026 fee to participate in the admission process. On the basis of the choices entered and CUET 2025 percentile, candidates will be alloted college and course. CUET 2026 result will be declared in first week of July 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in.
The CUET UG counselling is conducted by the universities acepting CUET UG scores seperately. Candidates will have to apply seperately for each university to appear for the CUET UG counselling process. National Testing Agency (NTA) has no role in conduction counselling process for CUET UG admissions. The participating universities conduct CUET counselling on the basis of candidate's CUET score and college preferences. The candidates are supposed to fill the forms for college and course for seat allotment. Candidates must stay updated with the important dates for admission to participating universities.
Candidates can calculate their approximate secured scores using the CUET UG answer key. They have to compare their CUET responses to the answer key. Candidates must follow the official CUET UG marking scheme. The calculated total will be the probable scores secured in the exam. However, the scores will be indicative and may differ from the result.
