No, candidates do not need mathematics as a mandatory subject to be eligible for Delhi Technological University BBA course. Any candidate who has passed for Class 12 board exams with 50% or higher aggregate is eligible for admission. Specific subjects of a candidate during Class 12 board exams is not relevant for eligibility criteria.

JEE Main rank is accepted by both DTU and IIT Delhi, followed by the JAC Delhi counselling process for admission to various BTech specialisations. According to the JAC Delhi Round 4 cutoff 2026, the closing rank for CSE admission for the General HS category was 14806. While for IIIT Delhi, it was 1129.

If we talk about the reviews, DTU is better than NSIT. Students have shown great interest in the DTU placements and quality of education over the years. Whereas, NSIT is also gaining popularity among the students. Which is better or best depends on the student's preference. 

DTU is indeed a great college for engineering, specially B.Tech. Since it takes students through JEE Mains, the quality of students is also very good.

Being a very old government college, it has gained immense recognition as well. Syllabus is a bit outdated. The subjects in the first year are common for all, irrespective of branches. Classes are held regularly, though there are bunks as well during exams, fests etc.

The professors are well educated, most of them have done PhD. Some of the teachers are good, interesting while some make the subject very boring and dull. Some of them would just copy the things from the book without actually making the students understand. I would advice to be regular in class and always stay in touch with the syllabus. The selection criteria for BTech at DTU is entrance based and states that having a JEE Mains rank is the minimum requirement for final seat allotment. An admitted candidate can withdraw his/her admission during the counselling period by submitting online request through JAC Delhi portal on or before last
date of withdrawal mentioned in counselling schedule.
a) If the candidate withdraws his/her admission on or before the last date of counselling schedule, his Seat Acceptance Fee (INR 95,000) will be refunded without interest after deducting INR1000 as processing charge.

IP University is one of the decent options for BBA provided the student is pursuing it from one of the top colleges under GGSIPU (or IP University).
