Durign the IIT Bombay UCEED cutoff 2023 the last round cutoff closed at 16, it means candidates scoring 50 in UCEED will not be eligible to get into IIT Bombay for B.Des admission. With a cutoff range of 50 to 80, candidates can choose IIT Hyderabad and IIT Guwahati for admission to the B.Des course.

The UCEED 2026 registration portal is open for IIT Bombay admission to the B.Des course. With a late fee, the deadline to register is Nov 10, 2025, and the UCEED Exam 2026 will be conducted on Jan 18, 2026.
The IIT JAM 2026 exam date for the MSc course is Feb 15, 2026.

Established in 1958, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is also known as IIT Bombay or IIT Mumbai. IIT Bombay has been declared a 'Deemed University' and is autonomous. IITB is the first public college to have laid its foundation stone with assistance from UNESCO. The average and median packages offered during IIT Bombay placements 2024 stood at INR 23.5 LPA and INR 17.92 LPA, respectively.
