Q:   What is the last date to fill CLAT Application Form 2027?

The Consortium has not announced the last date to submit the CLAT Application Form yet. However, once the application process starts it mostly remain opens for three months. This gives candidates sufficient time to complete it and submit. 

Q:   If I forget my CLAT Login ID or password. How should I fill the application form?
A: 

You don't have to worry. In case you have forgotten your ID and password, which is pretty much normal. You can go and click on the forgot password tab in the registration window. You will receive the mail and then you have to reset your password. Once day you will be able to login. 

Q:   Can I fill CLAT Application Form through mobile phone?
A: 

See, it doesn't matter that you fill the form through laptop or phone. What matters is you fill the form. Yes, you should have good network connection and internet speed. It should not happen that you have filled the form and when you reach the last step you loose the connection. So what is important is network connection not the phone or laptop to fill the application form.

It is not possible to cancel the CLAT registration after the final payment. Still, many students want to know how they can do it. We have provided a  few points that may help the students get their registration cancelled.

  • Contact the CLAT help desk and ask them to cancel the registration. The best possible way to contact them is through email. The CLAT help desk email address is clat@consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
  • If the help desk asks you to write a formal letter, then draft a short and clear email. Mentioned your CLAT registration details and the reason for cancellation. The sample format is provided below.
  • CLAT registration fees are non-refundable.
  • If cancellation is not possible, then you can withdraw your application by not appearing for the exam.
  • Maintain copies of all correspondence with the CLAT helpdesk and any communications regarding your cancellation request. This documentation can be useful in case of any disputes or future references.

Even with all the right documents, if you have not paid the application fee, your application form will be rejected. Since the application process cannot complete without submiting the fees. Once the window closes you won't be able to pay the fees or re fill the form.

The Consortium has released the CLAT Counselling Schedule. The CLAT First Merit List was released on January 7, 2026. The Consortium will release five round merit list. The second merit list was published on January22, 2026.

Q:   Can I prepare for CLAT Exam in one week?
A: 

Though CLAT Preparation takes months of practice, it is still not impossible. You can prepare for the CLAT Exam in one week with a correct and dedicated focus. But you should have at least some understanding of concepts to clear the exam.

We know that it is not possible to cancel the CLAT registration after making the payment. Still, students can request the CLAT help desk for this. Some major points to remember for cancelling registration are:

  • You must request cancellation within the deadline. After that, no request will be entertained.
  • The CLAT application fee is non-refundable. 
  • Cancelling or withdrawing from the CLAT exam does not impact your eligibility for future attempts. Candidates can reapply for the test in subsequent years if they decide to pursue a career in law later.
  • If you are not interested in appearing for the Common Law Admission Test, then you can choose some other options. There are many law entrance exams.

No, CLAT is not compulsory to take admission in Ishaan Institute of Law. The institute offers admission into the courses such as LLB, BA LLB and LLM based on the merit achieved by the candidates in their last qualifying exam. Application process is compulsory and it can be conducted online/offline.
