SLAT exam authority uses University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines for SLAT reservation policy. As per the exam authority, the total percentage of reserved seats for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates is 15. The total percentage of seats reserved for Scheduled Tries candidates in SLAT is 7.5%. The exam authority has reserved 5% of seats for wards of Defence Personnel at Symbiosis Law School Pune. The reservation facility for wards of Defence personnel is not available at the other three Symbiosis Law Schools. Aadhaar Card and Voter ID are the best photo ID proofs that can help Indian citizens verify their identity. Thus, it is advised to all SLAT exam takers that they must carry one of the two photo ID proofs to the SLAT exam centre. The photo ID proof should be original because photocopies or printouts of ID proofs are not accepted by the exam authority. The ID proof will only be used to recognise the candidates. The Symbiosis University will release the SLAT admit card for both slots on its portal on separate dates. The admit card is expected to release the hall ticket at least 15 days before the exam.
