Last Month. Feeling nervous or demotivated. Not Able to Focus. Here is how to score well in CLAT with last month’s preparation.

During the last month’s preparation of the exam, almost each and every aspirant has to be serious towards the exam and do not think about whether you would get through any NLU or not. It is the peak time for smart study as well as hard work and this is the time when your dedication and perseverance are being checked. You have to be patient regarding your ranks, numbers, colleges and especially “What will others say”  (if not selected). Just do not ruin your time by thinking about all of this. Forget it and remember that you are just 30 days away from cracking CLAT.

Now, let’s understand in points that how we can tackle the pressure and can manage our last month’s preparation.

  • Relevant Study Material

Firstly, it is important that you have the relevant study material (Books/Notes) to prepare for your examination. Obviously, you cannot go through all the books or notes which you have already referred to in this short span of time. It is the time to read your own notes and to revise the main topics which always dominate the CLAT paper. That’s why, it is said that whenever you read books or any other material, always make short notes and it would definitely help you in your last month’s preparation.

One more important thing is that this is not the right time to purchase a lot of books and to go through them because this is the time when you just revise the whole material which you have already gone through. If you read new books and materials now you would not get the time to go through your previously read material.

  • Examination Structure

It is quintessential that you should have knowledge of the examination structure. Last month’s preparation is all about going through the nuances of the examination structure. You have to understand how are the questions coming in every year, what are the major topics, which is more important or valuable subject. Whether the topic, I am studying is even relevant for the examination or not. How many times does a certain topic find its place in the exam? You just have to understand each and every important aspect of the examination structure.

  • Focus points (High scoring topics /Topic-wise weightage and preparation)

One thing I would like to mention again and again that you do not have to study each and everything about your course. You have to study only limited topics during your last month’s preparation because it is highly impossible that you will get through all the topics of your exam. Always go for smart study which says that focus on your main or important topics in which you think that you can perform better if any question comes from any of these topics. Always look out for the topics that have a higher weightage i.e., more and more questions are coming from such topics in every exam. Thus, you have to put your focus on such topics and subjects so that you can score better.

  • Revision Approach/Study Plan

Always remember that last month’s preparation is all revision. It is not the correct time for studying new topics. Instead, you should focus on going through the previous topics, revise them as much as you can and score better. Make a clear strategy for revising all the topics and do not overlap them. Further, you should always remember that if you are studying some new topic then it will come at the cost of revision and you cannot forget the revision part if you have to crack the examination.

  • Self-evaluation (Mock papers/Sample papers)

Self- evaluation is the key to getting success in any exam or competition especially when the exam is so unpredictable. In the current era, mock papers and sample papers are really important for cracking any exam, especially when we talk about any competition level exam. We get to know about the examination pattern and we also understand the difficulty level of the exam. During the last month, apart from your study, you have to write at least one CLAT mock or sample paper per day.

  • Last Week Tips and Tricks

It is the time when you would start feeling a bit nervous. Many of you will not sleep enough and study the whole night. But remember, if you are not well and your health is deteriorating continuously, you will not be able to make it to the exam centre even.  Even if you are in the exam center how you would be able to focus on the exam when you are sleepy and suffering from a fever or common cold. Thus, the last week’s strategy is to be fit, eat healthy food and attempt at least two mock papers. That’s it. Don’t indulge in any irrelevant study and topics and focus on your basics.

No, CLAT is not compulsory to take admission in Ishaan Institute of Law. The institute offers admission into the courses such as LLB, BA LLB and LLM based on the merit achieved by the candidates in their last qualifying exam. Application process is compulsory and it can be conducted online/offline.

You can find it on many platforms, such as Lawprep Tutorial and Shiksha itself, but I'm a Law Prep student, and I found their format of solutions better.

Based on recent CLAT analyses, the English Language and General Knowledge & Current Affairs sections were rated as the easiest. English is more about reading comprehension with direct questions. GK is highly scoring for those with consistent, up-to-date daily news preparation.

Whether SLS Pune is better than an NLU really depends on what you want. SLS Pune gives a strong private college aura, with a good campus, nice location, and a good brand name. Many people think it's ahead of some low-tier NLUs (Tier 2 or Tier 3). But the top NLUs like NLSIU Bengaluru or NLU Delhi st
