Q: Was this your first ATMA attempt? Were you expecting this score?
A: Yes, this was my first ATMA attempt. I was expecting a whole 99.98%ile (Rank 1) because I tried my level best. But lacked somewhere in the VA section.
Q: Tell us about your preparation strategy.
A: For me, the preparation strategy for any entrance exam remains more or less similar. Initially, I try to understand the level of the exam. Normally speed based exams are of an easy level and so is ATMA. I solved three past years' question papers and attempted two mock tests to get myself comfortable with the exam pattern.
Q: Which books did you refer to for ATMA preparation?
A: I did not refer to any particular book as I already appeared for CAT 2020. For ATMA, I referred to some YouTube channels that provide quality content. I watched videos and tried to solve questions on the spot without using a pen and a paper and which saved a lot of time and helped me in time management for the actual exam.

Q: How did you deal with the stress of ATMA prep and exam?
A: ATMA is an easy exam so you should not be stressed about difficult questions as such. But if it is easy, it is easy for all. Solving the questions carefully with accuracy is the key to fetch good marks in the ATMA exam.

A: I plan to build a startup. My plan starts as soon as I enter a B-School.
Q: Any tips for future ATMA aspirants?
A: I would say that they must not stress a lot about the exam. They must cover the topics not deeply but widely. They should always refer to and practice the previous years' question papers and attempt an ample number of ATMA mock tests. Try to solve past years' papers keeping in mind the sectional time limit. Study the vocabulary questions careful and prepare well. Lastly, stay hydrated during exam.
