Remember that you will have to balance new chapters with the revision exercise of already covered topics. Would it not add to the pressure? Devote time on revision and be confident of whatever you've prepared so far.
- Time Management- As per MAT 2026 exam pattern, there will be 150 questions and the time duration will be 2 hours. Practically, candidates will have 0.75 seconds to read and solve each question. So improve the time management skills that you have developed while practicing MAT mock tests. You do not have to solve all the questions, attempt only those which you can solve accurately. MAT has negative marking so do not waste your time on questions you are unsure of. Divide 120 minutes into 5 parts, acccording to the time it takes you to solve questions from a particular section. For example, you may want to allot more time to Reasoning than English. Make a plan according to your strength and weakness.
- Do not ignore Economic and Business Environment section- Although the score of Economic and Business Environment section is not considered while calculating MAT percentile, test takers need to focus on this section for overall score. Candidates must revise general awareness topics in the last week. This trick will help them sail through the Indian and Global environment section effectively. It will also help then in GD/PI rounds of MBA admission.

The percentile needed for admission would depend on the category you belong to. JAGSoM accepts various entrance examinations for admission to the MBA/PGDM course, like CAT, XAT, MAT, etc.
As per the estimated XAT cutoff in 2026, a percentile of 70 would be good enough to secure a chance at admission

CAT → accepted, helps in selection
MAT → also accepted, gives another option
