Underemployment is a major issue in India than unemployment. It is directly stated that the work that should be done by a single person is being done by two or three and this has caused imbalanced income distribution which leads to underemployment.

  1. End of Subsidy regime: Step needed to propel the wheel of growth

The present government at the Centre fears that if they eliminate subsidy then their voting factor will decrease. The recent decision taken by the Government of India is that petroleum and petroleum-related products will not be sold on subsidised rate. However, cooking gas will still remain subsidised because of every household needs. But, in India, subsidy benefit is taken by high-income groups as compared to the poor.

  1. Are mobile towers in the residential areas are harmful?

For better network coverage mobile operators are installing mobile towers in the residential areas. But, the National Rights Commission (NHRC) is really taking concerned about its harmful effects on radiation emitted in the residential areas.

  • It is generating electromagnetic radiation. It is directly lethal towards the health of humans as well as birds.
  • Do you know that 45 percent of the mobile tower construction in India is illegal or unauthorised

  1. Quality is a myth in India

Whether we are purchasing a product worth Re 1 or Rs 1,000, quality matters. Many consumers are even ready to pay more if the quality offered to them is better.

  • Every company is earning, but in terms of quality, they are lagging behind. Everyone in India is spending more on a particular product but they didn’t get that quality.
