The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the cutoff scores, toppers marks and marks vs rank data along with the NEET 2026 results. As per the official NTA NEET result data, Re NEET AIR 1 2026 Aryan Gupta obtained 715 marks and AIR 2 by Panshul Bansal with 715 marks as well. Candidate with 535 marks stood at 50,000 rank and 38 marks scorer ended up at 19,50,000 rank. Q:   How many rounds are there in NEET UG Counselling?
A: 

The MCC conducts around 4 to 5 rounds for NEET UG Counselling process for MBBS, BDS, BHMS and other seats. The rounds of NEET counselling depends on seat matrix and number of vacant seats.

Q:   What is the NEET counselling registration fee?
A: 

The NEET counselling registration fee varies for different candidate categories. For the AIQ seats and Central Universities, the fee for the General category candidates is INR 1,000 and for the SC, ST, OBC and PwD category candidates, the fee is INR 500. For participating in the NEET counselling process for Deemed Universities, the registration fee for all category candidates is INR 5,000. The registration fee is non-refundable. On the other hand, candidates will have to pay the tuition fee which is refundable. The amount for the General category candidates for the AIQ seats and Central Universities is INR 10,000. For the reserved category candidates, the amount is INR 5,000. For Deemed Universities, the tuition fee to be paid by all category candidates is INR 2,00,000. Those who would not be allotted a seat after the NEET counselling process will be refunded the tuition fee after the conclusion of the counselling rounds.

A: 

There are around four to five rounds of the Karnataka NEET Counselling for admissions to medical, dental, AYUSH and other undergraduate medical courses. The counselling rounds depend on the number of vacanct seats.

The NEET cutoff 2026 has increased from last year. In 2025, the NEET cutoff for General category was 686-144. On the other hand, this year's cutoff for General category is 715-213. The NEET 2026 cut off with number of qualified candidates against each category is shared in the table below:

Q:   Is there any restriction for filling up number of choices of institutes and courses during the NEET counselling process?
A: 

No, there is no limit in terms of entering the number of institutes and courses during the choice filling rounds of the NEET counselling process. Candidates can give as many choices as they wish for during online choice filling round. However choices should be in order of candidates' preference. According to the Medical Counselling Committee or MCC, There will be common software for AIQ, Deemed, Central Universities, B.Sc. Nursing, AIIMS, JIPMER, AMU, BHU for filling up choices. Also, there is no separate charge for choice filling. Candidates must also note that only filling choices is not enough, they must lock the choices within the stipulated date after verifying the choices and the preference order.

Q:   What is the procedure to download the NEET scorecard PDF?
A: 

The NEET result is declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA), in an online mode. Once the NEET result is declared, candidates will have to follow the steps given below to download their scorecards. 

1. Visit the official website - neet.ntaonline.in or exams.nta.ac.in/NEET

2. Click on the link indicating NEET scorecard download

3. Enter the NEET application number and date of birth or password

4. Enter the security pin

5. Download the NEET scorecard PDF document

6. Take multiple printouts

After checking the scores, percentile and rank of NEET, candidates must preserve the NEET scorecard PDF properly till the admission or the counselling rounds are over. This is one of the most crucial documents which is verified by the counselling authorities. 

 

Q:   Has registration started for NEET UG 2026 Counselling Round 1?

The MCC started the registration for NEET UG 2026 Round 1 counselling on August 5. Candidates needed to register at mcc.nic.in. The last date for registration was August 15, till 2.00 PM.

As per the latest 2026 data, NEET UG Round 1 cut of was 344. It is very competitive to take admission in MBBS at AIIMS Jodhpur. This rank was for general category. For OBC, the cut off was 714.
