The schedule for Assam NEET counselling 2021 is expected to be released in the first week of December (tentatively). Read to know the latest updates and other crucial information regarding the counselling for Assam MBBS admission 2021.

Assam's Directorate of Medical Education will undertake online counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions in 2021. Through Assam NEET admission, 85 percent of state quota seats in medical and dental institutes in the state are available. Medical Counselling Committee, or MCC, will provide counselling for the remaining 15% of All India Quota seats. Candidates must complete the Assam NEET application form 2021 within the specified time limit in order to participate in the counselling procedure. Candidates would be required to give their course and college preferences during the Assam NEET counselling procedure in 2021. Admission to 900 MBBS and 40 BDS seats at Assam's six medical and one dental colleges would be determined based on applicants' selections, seat availability, and NEET test scores. Assam 2021 MBBS Counselling Process

Below is the step by step process for Assam NEET Counselling 2021:

List of eligible candidates:

A applicant must declare whether he or she want to engage in the state quota counselling when filling out the NEET 2021 application form. The DME Guwahati would compile a list of individuals who are qualified to participate in the Assam NEET 2021 counselling. This list will be posted on DME's official website. Only those listed above will be eligible to participate in Assam NEET counselling in 2021.

Registration:

Candidates who desire to participate in the Assam NEET 2021 counselling must first register on the DME's official website. The registration will be done online. A applicant must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 500 to complete the registration procedure (irrespective of the category).

State Merit List:

DME would compile a merit list of students who have enrolled for Assam NEET 2021 counselling. This merit list will be compiled based on the NEET 2021 marks/ranks. In addition to an overall merit list, the state will create a merit list for each category. Seats earmarked for a certain group of candidates will be filled according to the merit list.

Schedule for Counselling:

The DME would then publish a timetable for Assam NEET counselling in 2021. Counseling will be place on different days for candidates from various categories. Seats left unfilled after the first round of counselling will be filled in the second round.

Reporting to the Office of DME:

To attend Assam NEET 2021 counselling, candidates must go to the office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Six Miles, Khanapara, Guwahati-22. He or she must bring the documents indicated below, both the original and a self-attested copy, to the counselling location.

Assam NEET Cutoff 2021: State Quota

To be eligible to register for Assam NEET counselling 2021, candidate must be a resident of the state of Assam. Assam residents are entitled to 85% of the available seats. Assam's medical and dental institutes provide a total of 900 MBBS and 40 BDS seats. Unreserved, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) for Plain & Hill, Backward Class, and Economically Weaker Section are the reservation categories (EWS),. The Assam NEET cutoff 2021 will be determined by the candidates' All India rankings and NEET scores.
