Top coaching institutes have released NEET 2022 answer key for code R. The exam was held on July 17. Candidates can download the answer key PDF for different subsets of code R here.
NEET 2022 Answer Key for Code B will be released by top coaching institutes right after the exam. NEET 2022 question paper had four sets Q, R, S, and T. The question paper set with code R was further segregated into 6 sub-sets, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6. NEET 2022 answer keys are released for each sub-set along with solutions. NTA released the final answer key for NEET exam on June 14, 2025. The NEET 2025 result was declared based on the NEET final answer keys. The provisional NEET answer key was released on June 3, 2025. Candidates could submit challenges or objections against the provisional answer keys till June 5, 2025.
NEET answer keys were released on the official website of NEET, neet.nta.nic.in. The last date to submit challenges against the NEET 2024 answer keys for the NEET 2024 retest is June 29, 2024, 11 PM. For the original test, the last date to submit challenges was June 1, 2024, 11 AM. Originally, the last date was May 31, 2024, 11.50 PM, which was extended by appriximately 12 hours. NTA released the provisional answer keys and OMR sheet on May 30, 2024. The objection or challenge submission process is completely online and candidates will have to send objections through email in a stipulated format along with proof of objection filing against each answer keys. How to Calculate NEET 2022 Scores
Candidates can calculate the tentative scores with the help of the marking scheme for NEET 2022. The steps to calculate the total scores in the NEET 2022 exam have been given below:
- Match your answers of OMR sheet with NEET 2022 answer key where the correct answers have been provided
- Count the total number of correct and incorrect answers
- Multiply the total number of correct answers with 4 and incorrect answers with 1
- Subtract the incorrect total with the correct total
NEET 2022 Score = (4 x number of correct answers) - (1 x number of incorrect answers)
Candidates must note the fact that no marks will be awarded or deducted for unattempted questions or attempting extra questions (beyond 180 or more than 10 in Section B).

As per experts and students' reactions, overall difficulty of NEET 2022 exam was moderate to tough. Out of three subjects, Physics was toughest one, followed by Chemistry and Biology. The difficulty level of Chemistry was easy to moderate. Questions were as per NEET syllabus and NCERT books. According to Anurag Tiwari National Academic Director, Medical Aakash BYJU’S, numerical dominated in Physics section. Mostly question were based on theory in Chemistry. In Botany sections, some questions were direct from NCERT books.

The NTA has not released the NEET 2027 exam date yet. However, the NEET UG 2027 exam is likely to be held on May 2, that is, the first Sunday of the month, the trend followed by NTA in previous years.

No, Punjabi University, Patiala are not decided based on NEET-UG score. Punjabi University, Patiala has only mentioned accepting scores of its ownin-house entrance exam to select candidates for BPharm courses.
Thus, candidates with a valid NEET-UG score will still need to appear in this entrance exam
