CBSE 10th Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education will announce the CBSE Class 10 result in April 2026. The link to download the result will be made available at results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in. However, the direct CBSE 10th Class result 2026 link will be provided on this page once it is announced. Students can check their results by logging wth th required credentials. They can also access the CBSE Class 10th result through SMS, IVRS, Digilocker and Umang App. 

In 2025, the result was announced on May 13, 2025, at 1 pm, and the overall pass percentage was 93.66. The CBSE 10th result date 2026 is expected to be announced soon. To qualify CBSE Class 10 2026 exam, students need to secure 33% in all subjects of the exam, including the internal assessment and theory paper. The board exams for 10th Class was conducted from February 17 to March 11, 2026. CBSE will provide digital marksheets, migration certificates, and skill certificates through ‘Parinam Majusha’, which is integrated with DigiLocker. How to Check CBSE Class 10 Result 2026?

CBSE 10th result 2026 will be announced online only. The result displays the marks obtained in each subject, division, grades, and other details of secondary exams. CBSE Class 10 Board exam result announced online is provisional. Students need to collect their original mark sheets and certificates from their respective schools. The CBSE 10th marksheets-cum-passing certificate and migration certificate available through DigiLocker with digital signature are also considered valid. The process to check the result is given below.

  1. Visit the CBSE website
  2. Click on the 'Results' tab.
  3. Choose either Class 10 result link
  4. Enter your roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth.
  5. Click 'Submit'

To check the CBSE result class 10 conveniently, students are also given the option to check it by sending an SMS through their registered mobile number on 7738299899, in the given format:

CBSE Result 2026 Class 10 with DigiLocker

To get the marksheets from DigiLocker, students can visit-cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse for initiation of their account confirmation process. Students must note that they will need a PIN to download their marksheet from the app. How do you get it? To strengthen the security and privacy of the students data, the PIN has been introduced. 

To confirm the DigiLocker account, students will first have to select their class and then enter their school code, and roll number. Further, they access the six-digit security PIN from their schools. The PIN will be provided by their school. If the same is not received, students will have to contact their schools. The PIN will be a numeric value. Example: If PIN given by the school is ‘012345’, students will have to enter only 012345. The process to check rresult through digilocker is given below.

  • Students can download their CBSE result 2026 by logging into the DigiLocker website or mobile application.
  • Students will get credentials for DigiLocker accounts on the phone via SMS.

CBSE 10th Phase 2 Result 2026

CBSE 10th Class Phase 2 exam is scheduled to be held in May-June. The result will be announced in June. This is considered as improvement exam. All passed and eligible students will be allowed to improve their performance in any of the three subjects out of Science, Mathematics, Social, Science and languages in the Phase 2 exam. If a student has not appeared in 3 or more subject in first examination, then they will not be allowed to appear in the second exam. Such students will be placed in the "Essential Repeat" category and can take the examination only next year in the main examinations in February. For students whose result in the first examination is Compartment, such students will be allowed to appear in second examination under Compartment Category. Additional Subject will not be permitted after passing class 10, students will not be allowed in stand-alone subjects. The eligibility to appear in the second examination is given below.

How to calculate CGPA of CBSE Class 10th Result 2026

Students can calculate the CGPA by following the instructions provided.

Add the grade points of five main subjects

Now, divide number by 5

For example, the grade points for 5 subjects respectively are 8,8,7,9,8

Total= (8+8+7+9+8) = 40

Now average grade = 40/5

CGPA = 8

Here's how to convert CGPA into a percentage

To convert the overall Cumulative Grade into a percentage, multiply it by 9.5

For example, for an 8 CGPA, multiply it by 9.5

Thus, 8 x 9.5 = 76 per cent

CBSE assigns grades for each subject. Grades are awarded based on 9-point grading system for each elective subject.

CBSE 10th Result Re-Evaluation & Verification 2026

Students can now apply to obtain photocopies of their answer sheet by paying a fee without having to necessarily apply for verification or revaluation. Students will be required to pay INR 500 per subject for verification of marks as well as for obtaining photocopies of evaluated mark sheets. The application process for the re-evaluation of the answer sheets starts in June. The re-evaluation fee per subject is INR 100. CBSE 10th Rechecking/Revaluation Result is announced in June.

Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for rechecking or revaluation of the papers by paying a fee. The process involves rechecking the marks by a different examiner while verification checks for any clerical error. They can also apply for verification of marks. Students are required to fill out the verification application form online on the official website. Once the application form is submitted, the board re-checks the answer sheets for totalling errors, missing out marks while totalling, or unchecked/ unmarked questions. After re-checking, the board will share the result with the students and allow them to request a photocopy of their re-checked CBSE Class 10th result.

  • Girls outshine boys again this year - Girls have outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 95.00%. The pass percentage of boys is 92.63%. Transgender students also recorded a 95.00% pass rate.

This accounts for 5.96% of the total number of students who appeared for the exam this year.

  • In Class 10 Texas 2025, a total of 45516 or 1.92 per cent students scored 95 per cent or more marks.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the CBSE 10th supplementary result 2026 in the first week of August 2026. The result is released on the official website- cbse.nic.in. Students can check their CBSE compartment result 2026 using their login credentials as mentioned in the CBSE 10th admit card 2026 for compartment exams. It should be noted that the CBSE compartment result 2026 class 10 released online is provisional in nature. Students will need to collect the original mark sheet from their schools respectively. 

Q:   Does CBSE cut marks for exceeding the word limit?

No, CBSE does not deduct marks for exceeding the word limit in the board exams. However, marks may be deducted for spelling mistakes and other errors in language papers.
