• Open the official result portal of NIOS — results.nios.ac.in/home/public-exam.
• Enter your enrollment number and captcha and click on 'submit'.
• Download your NIOS Result 10th Class 2026 and take a print out.
• Save NIOS Result 10th Class 2026 for future references.

NIOS 10th Result 2026: How to calculate CGPA

Usually, the NIOS CGPA is given on the mark sheet, but students want to calculate it themselves, they can follow the steps mentioned below: 

• Add all the grade points of your five subjects
• Divide the total by five

An example for better understanding this process: 

• If your grade point in five subjects is 8,7,9,7,8 
• Then the collective whole will be 8+7+9+7+8=39
• Now divide the total by five which will result in 39/5=7.8
• So, the CGPA is 7.8

NIOS Toppers List

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) will not be releasing the list of Class 10 toppers along with the declaration of the NIOS Result 10th Class 2026.

NIOS Class 10th Rechecking Result 2026

The facility for re-checking the NIOS Result 10th Class 2026 is provided by the Board. Students who wish to apply for re-checking of their NIOS Result 10th Class 2026 will be able to apply within 15 days after the declaration of the result. Application fee for re-checking result is INR 300 per subject which has to be paid online. The revised marks will be communicated with the candidate.

NIOS Improvement Exam

Students can appear for class 10th improvement exam if they feel they did not perform well in a subject. They can apply for the same by paying the NIOS examination fee. A student can appear for compartment exam only once during the admission period (5 years). If a student is applying for improvement of such a subject which involves both practical and theory then he/she will have to appear for both exams (Practical and Theory). Students who want to appear for the NIOS 10th Improvement exams 2026 need to apply for the same through the official website of NIOS, in the same manner, they had at the first chance examination and pay the required fee. This chance can be availed only once within the five years of admission.

NIOS Improvement Exam 10th Result 2026

In the NIOS Result 10th Class 2026 mark sheet for Improvement exams, better of the two results would be considered and indicated. In case of passing in additional subjects(s) or improvement of performance in one or more than one subject, no fresh certificate will be issued to the students and only a mark sheet will be issued.
