Overview

UCEED Scorecard 2026 - IIT Bombay released the scorecard of UCEED 2026 on March 10, 2026. The deadline for downloading the scorecard is July 31, 2026.

UCEED scorecard contains information like Part A marks, category-wise qualifying marks for UCEED and name and roll number of the candidate. However, common merit ranks (All India Ranks), Part B marks, and UCEED Scores 2026 will be issued only for shortlisted candidates. The validity of the scorecard is one year from its release date.

Latest Updates:

The result for UCEED 2026 was out on March 06, 2026. Candidates are allowed to view their UCEED 2026 results online and download scorecards using their email ID and password. IIT Bombay conducted the UCEED entrance exam on January 18, 2026.

  2. A redirected window will open
  3. Enter your email ID and password and log in
  4. On login, it will be displayed on the screen
  5. Download and take a printout of the scorecard.

Q:   Do I need to qualify Part A to be included in the UCEED 2026 merit list?
A: 

Note that the Part B answer booklet will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A. Further, only such candidates who have qualified Part A will be shortlisted and allocated a merit rank. 

This means if the candidates fails to qualify Part A of UCEED 2026, they will not be issued any merit ranks. The scorecards of such candidates will merely includes Part A scores. In contrast, the screcards of shortlisted will include a merit rank, total and sectional scores. Further, all shortlisted candidates will be eligible to participate in UCEED 2026 and seat allotment.

Q:   Where can I check UCEED 2026 results?
A: 

UCEED result was out on March 06, 2026. It is available at uceed.iitb.ac.in. To check results, candidates need to log in to the Candidate portal using their email ID and password. 

Q:   What is the minimum eligibility criteria to participate in UCEED 2026 counseling?
A: 

Eligibility criteria to participate in UCEED counselling are given below.

  • Candidate must be born on or after October 1, 2001.

  • Candidate must have qualifed in UCEED 2026 exam.

  • Candidate must have passed all five subjects in 10+ 2 or an equivalent exam in 2025 or 2026. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2024 or earlier are NOT eligible.

Details mentioned on the UCEED 2026 scorecard

All shortlisted candidates will get a common merit rank (All India Rank). All shortlisted candidates are considered as qualified candidates in UCEED 2026. Obtaining a rank in UCEED does NOT guarantee admission to the B.Des programme. Hard copies of the UCEED Score Card will not be available.

Q:   What is the validity of the UCEED 2026 scorecard?

UCEED 2026 scorecard will be valid for a period of one year from the date of its release. The scorecard was made available for download on March 10, 2026. 

Scorecard contains Part A marks for all candidates who appeared in the UCEED 2026 entrance exam. However, Part B, total marks, and merit ranks are released only for candidates who qualify Part A. 

Q:   What is the minimum eligibility criteria to participate in UCEED 2026 counseling?

The Joint Admission Process will not have any spot rounds.

However, IITDM Jabalpur may conduct a spot round of admissions at the institutional level if there are any vacant seats after completion of the counselling.

Here are some of the important points that candidates need to know about the UCEED 2026 scorecard.

  • The validity of the UCEED 2026 score will be for one year
  • All candidates who have appeared in the UCEED exam can download the scorecard.

IIT Bombay declared results of UCEED 2026 exam on March 6, 2026. The scorecards were made available for download only from March 10, 2026. So, you will not be able to download the scorecard on the result day.

What after UCEED Scorecard?

After the release of the UCEED Scorecard, B.Des Application for Admission to IITs opens. Candidates need to fill the UCEED Joint counseling application form to get admission to B.Des programmes at IITs.

Next Step after UCEED 2026 Scorecard 

  • Apply to Participating Institutes and Result Sharing Institutes: Candidates who have qualified for B.Des need to fill the B.Des application form for the institutes. There is a common B.Des application form that needs to be filled to sit for the UCEED Counselling.
  • The application portal was active from March 14, 2026 (Saturday), 10:00 AM, till April 10, 2026 (Friday), 5:30 PM.
  • UCEED Seat allocation will be based on the All-India Rank (merit order), reservation category and seat availability in each institute at the time of seat allocation.

The admission cutoff for UCEED 2026 will be released during seat allotment. The admission cutoff is the minimum rank one needs for admission. The cutoff (admission) is determined based on factors like seat intake, total applications received for admission, the category of the candidate, etc.

The UCEED 2026 Seat allotment process has FIVE rounds. The allotment of seats is done as per the UCEED 2026 merit rank of the candidate.

The registration fee for UCEED counselling 2026 is INR 4,000. Fees have to be paid in online mode. Candidates will also have to pay seat-acceptance fee, which is separate from the counseling fee. 

Q:   At what time will the UCEED 2026 results be declared?
A: 

UCEED 2026 exam results were declared on March 6, 2026. On result day, the candidate will only be able to see their qualifying status and scores.

Q:   Do I need to qualify Part A to be included in the UCEED 2026 merit list?
A: 

Yes, you need to qualify UCEED Part A to be included in the UCEED Merit List. 

UCEED Part B question paper is not evaluated unless the candidate qualifies Part A. Further, only such candidates who have qualified Part A are shortlisted and are allocated a merit rank. In case of candidates who have failed to qualify Part A of UCEED, they are not issued any merit rank. Their scorecard merely includes Part A scores. In case of candidates who are shortlisted and are issued a merit rank, they can participate in UCEED and seat allotment.

Q:   When will the UCEED 2026 scorecard be available for download?
A: 

The UCEED 2026 scorecard became available for download on March 10, 2026, and will remain accessible until July 31, 2026, on the Candidate portal.

Q:   When will UCEED cutoff released for Round I?

The admission cut-off for Round I of UCEED 2026 was released on April 21, 2026.

This will be followed by the 2nd allotment on May 19, 2026. UCEED 3rd round of allotment will be declared on June 10, 2026.

Yes, there will be biometric verification at the UCEED 2026 exam centre. The biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) will be collected from the candidate before the commencement of the exam. On exam day, the candidate needs to bring with them a valid photo id proof and the admit card. Note that the photo id proof must be in the original; photocopies will not be accepted. Note that the candidate needs to report at the UCEED 2026 exam centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of the exam.

Q:   What will be the mode of UCEED counseling?
A: 

The counseling for UCEED 2026 will be conducted online as a Joint Seat Allocation process. The counseling will be conducted in a centralized manner.

Q:   When should I pay the UCEED 2026 seat-acceptance fee?
A: 

To avoid any last-minute unforeseen transaction issues, you should pay the seat acceptance fee for a round well before the end time/date of the corresponding round.

If the fee is not paid within the given deadline, allotment will be cancelled. Also, such seats will be offered to the candidate next in the order of merit.

Q:   When will the CEED 2026 result be declared?
A: 

IIT Bombay declared results of CEED exam on March 4, 2026. It was declared online at ceed.iitb.ac.in. To check results, candidate needs to log in to Candidate portals using their login id. 

Q:   Which academic stream should I have studied in Class 12 to be eligible for UCEED exam?
A: 

Candidates from any academic stream are eligible to apply for UCEED exam. However, for admission to IIT Guwahati, it is mandatory for candidates to have passed Class 12 from the Science stream. The candidate needs to carefully go through the eligibility criteria before they apply. It is because the candidate will not be considered for admission to the B. Des programme even if they get a rank in UCEED if they don't meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Also, any candidate who is found to be using incorrect information about their eligibility stands to be disqualified if caught.

Q:   What documents are required to fill the Common application form for B.Des in IITs?
A: 

To fill the Common application form for B.Des released by IIT Bombay,  

  • Digital copies of relevant supporting documents, and the signed copy of the completed application form. 
  • Supporting documents required for the application are digital copies of photograph, signature, UCEED Score Card, qualifying examination Mark Sheet (Class XII or equivalent), and where applicable, EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST Certificate, PwD Certificate, and OCI/PIO Card.
