Review of IIT Hyderabad College.
Placements: Honestly, the campus placements here are fantastic. If you have skills, it's pretty straightforward to get placed with a decent package. We're talking about a 100% placement rate because more than enough companies are coming to our campus. It's not unusual for a student to end up with two job offers. The highest and the lowest packages vary by branch, but I'd say the top package can reach up to 50 LPA, while the lowest sits around 15 LPA-16 LPA.
Infrastructure: In spite of the college's overall infrastructure being just alright, the campus-wide Wi-Fi, well-used labs, comfortable classrooms, and extensive library become a great source of satisfaction. The vast array of textbooks and other materials available on campus removes the necessity for students to buy many of the resources from outside. Students can also avail themselves of transportation and on-campus housing facilities in case they do not have their own vehicles. The mess is clean, and if we talk about the food menu, it is quite good, but if more items of students' choice are introduced, it will surely be beneficial.
Faculty: Faculty here always excel, but they do their job well. First year teaching was very similar to high school, which made the change quite easy. The yearly tests are not too hard. The college also recognized academic successes and took special care to award the highest achievers.

Campus Life at IIT Hyderabad.
Placements: 70% were placed in my college last year. The highest package is 30 LPA. All students got an internship in our branch. It is one of the best branches at IIT Hyderabad. You can also prepare for tech. The course of our branches is well prepared and organised.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is also very nice. Our department consists of a building in which most of the rooms belong to labs. In every room, you will get free Wi-Fi. The canteen will serve at least five items per day, and the taste is also very nice.
Faculty: Teaching is excellent, and they have mostly done their Ph.D. in IIT. Professors at IIT Hyderabad are highly knowledgeable and always helpful. They clear the doubts of the students at any time in the class. And the exams are above average in terms of difficulty.

My review about this college.
Placements: We could learn a lot during internships. If it were an industrial, field internship, we could really learn how companies work, how it was different from academics, etc. Placements were pretty much good compared to all new IITs. The average package was around 10 LPA - 12 LPA. The highest salary was 40 LPA, and the lowest salary was 4 LPA. There were many companies visiting the campus thus providing enough opportunities for placements. Nearly every student could get an internship opportunity if they applied to appropriate firms. The stipend depends on how you work at the firm.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities were world-class, and every student would love to get such world-class facilities. Buildings were seven-storeyed hostels. All kinds of sports grounds and well-furnished. A multipurpose gym was well-built. Music and recreation rooms were well built. Huge stages and open stands were ultimate open places. Course curriculum was very simple in our college. Our college followed fractal academics which help students to easily cope up with their studies while doing other activities. So it helped every student. Even if you were weak at some point, this exams were so easy. It provided wireless networking electives, machine learning, and databases.
Faculty: Faculty members had been excellent in molding the students in various streams of specialisations. They had been trained from old IITs so that being a new IIT we were not missing that experience and expertise from the professors and faculty members. They had been really good job teaching with their experience. For 2 years, there were 4 semesters. All the exams also had lab exams as part of end-semester exams. Lab activities included, programming, coding, machine learning, digital signal processing, operation systems, embedded systems, micro processors, etc.

To join IIT Hyderabad aspriring candidates need to clear JEE, GATE, CEED or UCEED. To be eligible for the BTech programme at IIT Hyderabad aspring candidates need to clear JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced and they also need to have 75% in their class 12 exam. The BTech programme is offered under 15 specialisations at IIT Hyderabad. Q:   Does IIT Hyderabad provide scholarships to M.Tech students?

Yes, scholarships are offered by various institutes and governments. MCM and SC/ST scholarships are available for students with a parental income of less than Rs. 4.5 Lakhs and the students must achieve an SGPA/CGPA of 7.0 or above with no active backlogs. The number of students selected for the MCM scholarship is limited to 25% of class strength. The NSP portal provides more detailed information on different scholarship schemes, including the post-matric scholarships scheme for minorities, top-class education schemes for SC and ST students, and scholarships for students with disabilities. Q:   How are the campus facilities of IIT Hyderabad?

Q:   How safe is IIT Hyderabad campus for students?
A: 

Students on Shiksha rated IIT Hyderabad 4.5 out of 5 in terms of campus life, infrastructure and safety. In terms of safety, the institute maintains tight security and safety for the students. Q:   What is the JoSAA R1 opening and closing rank for IIT Hyderabad BTech in Artificial Intelligence course?
A: 

IIT Hyderabad JoSAA cutoff 2024 has been released for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD categories. As per the JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment results, the opening and closing ranks for BTech in Artificial Intelligence were 685 and 852 for the General AI category students. Q:   Is GATE compulsory for IIT Hyderabad PhD course?
A: 

No, GATE is not a compulsory entrance exam for PhD admissions at IIT Hyderabad. However, every department of IIT Hyderabad has a separate eligibility and selection criteria for their offered PhD courses.

In some departments, candidates are required to appear for the GATE in order to be eligible for IIT Hyderabad PhD admissions.

Q:   Is work experience mandatory for PhD admissions at IIT Hyderabad?
A: 

No, work experience has not been listed as a mandatory requirement in the IIT Hyderabad PhD eligibility criteria. Candidates who wish to gain admission into the regular PhD course admissions are required to only clear the specific PG level course with the required minimum aggregate to be eligible.

Q:   Is IIT Hyderabad M.Tech entrance tough?
A: 

IIT Hyderabad students claims that the M.Tech entrance has a high level of difficulty for the GATE.

However, the difficulty is also described as being lower than that of exams such as JEE Main and JEE Advanced. 

Candidates are advised to prepare the GATE syllabus thoroughly to maximize their chances of being selected at IIT Hyderabad.

No, the BTech admissions at IIT Hyderabad are not open to offline mode admissions. In order to apply for IIT Hyderabad admissions, candidates need to appear for the JEE Mains, JEE Advanced and JoSAA counseling rounds. The registration for the aforementioned exams and counseling can only be done on their official NTA portals in online mode.

Q:   Can I get admission in IIT Hyderabad with 100 merit rank in UCEED 2026?
A: 

The closing rank for IIT Hyderabad was 43. So, if you secure a merit rank of 100 in the UCEED 2026 exam, you chances of admission to the B. Des will be very low. To have a good chance of admission into the institute, you must target a UCEED merit rank within the top 40. However, note that if you belong to reserved categories, in that case the cut-off would be lower. Further, you will be considered for admission under both the reserved category and the open category.
