IIT Hyderabad M.Tech fees is INR 2.63 Lacs in the academic year 2026. The aforementioned fees is charged from regular category students of IIT Hyderabad M.Tech course. However, for government sponsored students, the IIT Hyderabad M.Tech course fees is INR 3.75 lakh.

For the General AI category students, the IIT Hyderabad cutoff 2025 for UCEED Round 1 is 52. The cutoff rank differs for each round and category; students who don’t qualify in the first round can wait for the last round results to be announced. NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. Candidates can check JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 and 2 on this page.  JEE Main 2024 application form session 1 was available from November 1 to December 4. For session 2, NTA released application form on February 2.

Q:   How can I join IIT Hyderabad?

To join IIT Hyderabad aspriring candidates need to clear JEE, GATE, CEED or UCEED. To be eligible for the BTech programme at IIT Hyderabad aspring candidates need to clear JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced and they also need to have 75% in their class 12 exam. The BTech programme is offered under 15 specialisations at IIT Hyderabad. Q:   How many offers are made during IIT Hyderabad placements?
A: 

More than 304 offers were made after the phase 1 placement drive at IITH. During the placement drive 2025 and 2024, 710 and 521 offers were made. 

Q:   How can I get into IIT Hyderabad MTech?
A: 

To get into IIT Hyderabad M.Tech course candidates must first have a valid qualification and secure a valid entrance exam. Admission to the M.Tech course is entrance-based. The technology institute accepts scores of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Candidates who further get shortlisted need to take part in COAP counselling. It is necessary that each aspirant clear the entrance test with a valid rank. Moreover, the application process is online (iitb.ac.in) for the IIT Hyderabad M.Tech course. 

Q:   Which entrance exam is required for admission to M.Des at IIT Hyderabad?
A: 

To get admission into IIT Hyderabad, the candidate must qualify the CEED exam and attain the required score. IIT Hyderabad MDes cutoff 2024 is based on CEED scores 2024 followed by the round-wise CEED Counselling. IIT Hyderabad CEED cutoff 2024 is out for Part A.
