The Consortium of NLUs activated the CLAT form 2027 on August 3 at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates can apply online through the CLAT registration form 2027. Candidates must pay the CLAT form fee as prescribed by the Consortium in the official notification to complete the application form. The last date for CLAT registration is October 31. The Consortium will conduct the CLAT 2027 on December 6, 2026

The Consortium will soon notify the correction dates for the CLAT form. The candidates are required to provide an active mobile number and email ID for registration. The application will be available only after CLAT registration. Documents Required for CLAT Registration 2027

CLAT forms will be filled online only and the candidates will be required to upload the prescribed documents with the application form. Applicants will be required to pay the CLAT registration fee as prescribed by the Consortium. Candidates will be required to upload the documents in the format and size as prescribed in the CLAT form instructions.

Candidates should arrange all the required documents before filling the application form. Aspirants are advised to check the complete list of documents required to fill CLAT Application Form below:

  • An active email ID and mobile number
  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets 
  • LLB/ equivalent mark sheets and certificates (for LLM courses only)
  • ID and address proof (Aadhaar Card/Driving License/PAN Card, etc.)
  • Category certificate if applying under SC/ST/OBC category
  • Relevant certificate issued by a competent authority if applying as PwD or BPL candidate

Important Instructions while filling the CLAT Form 2027

The Consortium of NLUs released instructions to fill the CLAT registration form online. Applicants must read and understand all the instructions before filling the CLAT form 2027. Candidates can check the following important points while filling out the CLAT exam form:

  • Check eligibility criteria
  • Fill in the educational, personal and other details carefully.
  • Pay the registration fee in online mode only.
  • An incomplete application form will be rejected, and no request will be entertained in this regard.
  • Ensure your name and date of birth in the application match your Class 10 certificates.
  • E-mail ID and contact details should be correct.
  • Upload a recent, clear photograph & signature in the specified format.
  • Ensure you pay the application fees before submitting.

After filling the form, the candidates must pay the CLAT registration fee to complete the online application.

How to fill CLAT Form 2027?

The CLAT registrations will be available online only till October 31. The candidates need to fill the CLAT examination form within the specified time limit. Candidates can fill the CLAT form 2027 in the following manner:

  2. Register as a new user
  3. Fill the personal and professional details in the form
  4. Upload Required Documents
  5. Pay the CLAT Registration Fee
  6. Review all details carefully
  7. Submit the form

  • Candidates should clear Class 12 with a minimum 45 per cent aggregate (applicable for candidates belonging to General/ Other Backwards Class (OBC)/ Person with Disability (PwD)/ Non-Resident Indian (NRI)/ Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) category)
  • Candidates should clear Class 12 with a minimum 40 per cent aggregate (applicable for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) category)
  • Candidates appearing for their Class 12 board examinations in March/April are also eligible to apply for CLAT 2027 exam. However, such candidates need to produce proof of passing Class 12 or equivalent exam at the time of admission. Candidates unable to produce the evidence shall forfeit their right of admission through CLAT exam

CLAT 2027 Application Correction Window

The Consortium of NLUs will open the CLAT Application Correction Window 2027 once the registration process is over. This will help candidates to edit their registration form in case they have made any errors or want to change some details. Candidates can edit the CLAT form 2027 in the manner given below:

  1. Click on the CLAT 2027 form correction link
  2. Log in using mobile number and password
  3. Click on the Edit Application button
  4. Go to 'Category and Seat Reservation' for NLU preferences, as well as the Personal details tab for OBC category status, whether Non-Creamy Layer or Creamy Layer
  5. Make the required changes, click on the Next button
  6. Click on the declaration checkbox and Save to submit the changes

The candidates should note that there is no application correction fee. In case the candidate fills multiple registration forms, the last saved CLAT Form will be considered by the Consortium for all exam purposes.

Q:   What is CLAT Exam Pattern?
A: 

The CLAT exam for both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be conducted for 2-hour; i.e. 2 pm to 4 pm. Candidates must note that the exam will be conducted in offline mode. There will be 120 MCQs. Total number of sections in the question paper will be five. 

Q:   When will CLAT 2027 application form release?
A: 

The Consortium of NLUs started the CLAT Registrations 2027 on August 3, 2026. Candidates must fill the CLAT form on or before October 31. The CLAT Forms will not be accepted after the CLAT registration dates.

Q:   Can I prepare for CLAT Exam in one week?
A: 

Though CLAT Preparation takes months of practice, it is still not impossible. You can prepare for the CLAT Exam in one week with a correct and dedicated focus. But you should have at least some understanding of concepts to clear the exam. 

Q:   Who conducts the CLAT Exam?
A: 

The CLAT Exam is conducted by consortiumofnlus.ac.in. All those candidates who are looking forward to getting admission at NLUs must appear for the exam. Apart from NLU Delhi, admission to all the NLUs are done through CLAT. 

Q:   What is the official website to fill CLAT Application Form?

Candidates can visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in to fill the CLAT Application Form. There is no other portal that hosts the CLAT Application Process. Candidates must fill it on or before the last date.

Q:   What is CLAT Invite List?
A: 

The Consortium of NLUs publish the CLAT Invite List that will carry important details like roll number of the candidates who have scored high enough to be shortlisted the counselling process, their total marks and other details. With this candidates will be able to register for seat allotment in National Law Universities (NLUs) for UG and PG programs.

Q:   What is CLAT Syllabus?
A: 

The CLAT 2027 UG syllabus includes five subjects: English Language, Current Affairs & GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. The exam will be for 120 MCQs. Candidates will get 2 hours to complete the exam.

Q:   How can I get the CLAT Syllabus PDF?

Candidates can access the CLAT 2027 syllabus on consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The Consortium released the CLAT notification on its official portal. There are five sections in the CLAT syllabus.

Q:   Will I receive CLAT Scorecard through post?
A: 

No, the CLAT Scorecard will not be sent by post. The only way to get the scorecard is to download it online. Candidates can visit CLAT portal; i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Enter their login ID and password. The CLAT Result will appear on their screen.

A:
