However, according to a report from a YouTube channel, the viral RRB ALP 2024 result notice is copied from an old notification issued by the Railways in 2018. A detailed comparison reveals that the content of the circulating notice is identical to the one released in 2018, further confirming that the information is misleading.

Additionally, another major inconsistency lies in the mention of actual marks and normalized marks. In the 2018 RRB ALP recruitment, the normalisation of marks was a part of the selection process. However, for the 2024 recruitment cycle, the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have shifted to percentile-based normalization, which ensures a fair evaluation across different shifts. The viral notice does not mention percentile-based normalization, making it evident that it does not align with the current marking scheme.
