The BSc nursing academic session/classes for the CNET participating colleges began from August 18, 2025 as per the official prospectus. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Uttar Pradesh, is responsible for conducting the UP CNET counselling 2025 in online mode. The entire counselling process was organized and managed through the official website, abvmucet25.co.in. The institute reporting for the stray vacancy round concluded on August 14, 2025.
The CNET mop-up round ended on August 2, 2025. For candidates who participated in Round 1 and Round 2 CNET counselling, the stray vacancy round served as a last chance to accept their allotted seats for admission to the BSc nursing programme.

July 4, 2025: CNET Counselling 2025 Institute Reporting Process begins on July 4 – What to do After Round-2 Allotment?
The CNET BSc nursing counselling for admission to BSc nursing four-year programme began on June 2, 2025. There will be three round of counselling to fill the vacant seats. Candidates will have to participate in the CNET counselling by paying a counselling registration fee. The CNET exam was held on May 21, 2025 and the result of the BSc nursing exam was declared on May 26, 2025. Only those candidates who appeared for the entrance exam will be able to participate in the CNET counselling.
The UP CNET seat matrix for each round of counselling will be released stage by stage before each round of counselling. Candidates will be able to download the CNET seat matrix 2025 either from the official website or through this page of Shiksha.com. The CNET seat matrix will help candidates know the course and college availability as per the rank secured.

CNET Qualifying Criteria 2025
As per the official prospectus issued by ABVMU, UP, the UP CNET 2025 qualifying percentile for the general category is placed at the 50th percentile, 45th for general PWD candidates and 40th percentile for SC, ST & OBC categories, including SC, ST & OBC PWD.

Yes. After the CNET seat allotment result declaration, candidate need to choose 'Upgrade' as an option to confirm the seat allotted in Round 1 and to further participate in Round 2. However, if the candidate is dissatisfied with the seat allotted in Round-1, then he/she can also 'Decline' this option to drop the college allotted in Round-1 and participate in CNET round-2 counselling.

UP CNET Counselling Process 2025
The CNET counselling will began from June 2, 2025. There will be three rounds of counselling. An offline mop-up round will be held in case the seats remain vacant. The final round of counselling (mop-up round) will be held in offline mode in Lucknow.

Seat Matrix will be released initially by the counselling conducting body on the official website, abvmuup.edu.in. CNET 2025 Counselling Registration
Interested candidates will have to apply for the CNET 2025 counselling. A CNET counseling registration will be floated on the official website. Qualifying candidates will have to fill in the form and pay counselling application fee to be eligible to participate in the CNET counselling process.
CNET Counselling Registration Fees 2025
Candidate has to pay INR 500/- as Counselling Registration Fee (NON-Refundable) and INR 5000/- as Counselling Security Fee through online mode. The admitted candidates and those candidates who have not been allotted any seat will be refunded the Counselling Security fee (INR 5000/-) through the bank information provided at the time of counselling registration.
CNET Choice filling and option locking
As per the data provided in the CNET seat matrix, candidates will have to participate in the choice filling. Candidates can choose as many colleges as they want to apply for the BSc nursing programme. After filling the choices, it is mandatory to lock those options and wait for the result.
CNET Seat Allotment Result
As per the preference chosen and performance of the candidates in the exam, candidates will be allotted a seat. The CNET seat allotment result will be published on the admission portal. Candidates will have to use their login details to find out the allotment result.
Document Verification and Fee Payment
The final step of the CNET counselling process is ‘Reporting at the allotted institute’. Candidates will have to present themselves within the given deadline once the institute is allotted to them. The admission seekers are also advised to carry the documents given below for the purpose of verification at the time of admission. A Seat Confirmation Fee of INR 40000/- (Rs. Forty thousand only) must be paid through online mode/challan method to ABVMU, UP, to confirm seat allotment.

The list of important documents required for document verification at the time of seeking admission to the nursing institute is mentioned below:
- 10th marksheet and DOB proof certificate
- 12th marksheet
- Passport size photographs
- Domicile Certificate
- Category certificate
- Medical Certificate (The candidates who are issued a provisional Seat allotment letter are required to submit the certificate of medical fitness issued by the Government Medical College/District Hospital/District CMO.)
Please note that Original certificates and other fees are to be submitted ONLY at the start of the academic session.
Reporting at the Institute
After the document verification, candidates will have to pay the course fee to book the seat. In case the candidate fails to pay the course fee, then the allotted seat will be cancelled. Failing to report to the allotted college within the specified date and time will lead to forfeiture of the Counselling security fee (INR 5000/-).

No, the CNET 2025 counselling registration fee is to be paid only once at the beginning of the counselling. For subsequent round of counselling, no fee is to be paid. However, once the fee is paid, it is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Candidate has to pay INR 500/- as Counselling Registration Fee (NON-Refundable) and INR 5000/- as Counselling Security Fee through online mode.
