CSIR UGC NET 2024 Result OUT: The National Testing Agency (NTA) published the CSIR NET result 2024 on September 12, 2024 at csirnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates can use their application number, date of birth and security pin to download the CSIR UGC NET 2024 result online. This year, the CSIR UGC NET exam was conducted on July 25, 26 and 27.
The CSIR NET examination covered five subjects and was conducted across the 348 centres in 187 cities throughout India. The subjects for which the exam was conducted included Earth Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Life Sciences and Chemical Sciences. The total number of registered candidates was 225,335 and 163,529 actually appeared for the examination.

No. The syllabus of CSIR NET is the same for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and Lectureship (Assistant Professor). The difference that lies is only in the cut-off marks and not in the syllabus.
