JKSET Exam Date 2025: The JKSET/ LASET exam for the 2024 session, which was scheduled for May 11, 2025, has been postponed by the University. The JK SET new exam date 2025 will be announced soon. The JK SET admit card 2025 will be released soon. The University of Jammu invited the JKSET application form from June 11 to July 26, 2025 and from February 3 to 10, 2025. The JK SET notification 2025 was released on June 5, 2024, on the official website- www.jujkset.in.
The JK SET dates highlight the important events related to the exam including the release of the application form, admit card, exam conduct, result declaration, etc. Candidates should be aware of these dates so that they do not miss out on any important events. The JKSET exam will be held offline in pen and paper mode. The JKSET 2025 exam is conducted for a total of 41 subjects at three centres - Jammu, Srinagar and Leh. The JKSET/ LASET exam is held to determine the eligibility of a candidate for the Assistant Professor post in the universities and colleges of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

- JKSET application form: The University of Jammu releases the JK SET application form after the issue of official notification. The application form is released online on the official website of the exam. The application process is conducted for a month.

The JKSET 2024 notification has been released as a PDF download file containing all the important details regarding the exam including exam date, eligibility criteria, qualification, application process, pattern, syllabus and qualifying criteria.
There is no negative marking in the JKSET exam. Candidates are awarded 2 marks for each correct answer in the JKSET exam and no marks for unattempted questions or wrong answers. The JKSET exam carries a total of 300 marks (Paper 1 + Paper 2). The JKSET Paper 1 holds the weightage of 100 marks and Paper 2 carries 200 marks.
