The CTET 2026 Exam

CTET 2026 Exam: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the CTET Result 2026 for the February session on March 30 at ctet.nic.in. Candidates who appeared in the exam can download their result from the offiical website or via direct link provided here. Candidates can download their result by using the login credentials including the roll number. The CTET 2026 pass percentage also announced by the authority. 

The provisional answer key for the CTET exam was released on March 12 and the last date to raise an objection was March 15. The CTET 21st Edition exam was held on February 7 and 8 at various centres across the country in two shifts on each day. 

The admit card was released on February 5. The pre-admit card was released on January 23, 2026. The last date for CTET application completion was December 30. The notification and application form for the CTET February 2026 exam were released on November 27. The CTET notification PDF in the form of information bulletin was released. Candidates were required to fulfill the prescribed CTET eligibility criteria 2026, including the age limit and educational qualification, to apply for the exam.

CTET Result 2026 February Session Live Updates

CTET Result 2026 OUT

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the CTET result 2026 for the 21st edition on the official website at ctet.nic.in. A direct link is also provided here. Candidates required their login credentials to download the result including the roll number. The CTET certificate and marksheet 2026 of qualified candidates will be made available on the DigiLocker platform shortly. The CBSE releases both documents on the DigiLocker and UMANG platforms. 

As per the official notice, the marksheet and qualifying certificate of the candidates will also be uploaded in digilocker shortly. The candidates may download it by using their mobile number provided by them in their online application form of CTET February 2026.

The authority announced the pass percentage of the candidates separately for Paper 1 and Paper 2 and also total pass percentage. The exam was held on February 7 and 8.

CTET 2026 Exam Analysis

The CBSE conducted the 21st Edition exam on February 7 and 8 in two shifts for both Paper 1 and 2. The CTET exam analysis is shared here after the conduction of each shift. CTET 2026 Preparation

How to fill the CTET Form 2026?

Candidates can fill out the CTET form using the process shared below-

• Visit the website- ctet.nic.in
• Click on the Apply for CTET link.
• Click on New Registration.
• Go through the details, click on acknowledgement and proceed.
• Register by filling in the required details.
• Fill out the application form.
• Upload the documents such as photograph and signature.
• Pay the CTET application fee.
• Submit the form.
• Take the printout of the CTET confirmation page.

CTET Application Form Correction 2026

The authority activated the application correction link on December 23. The last date to make correction if required was December 26. CBSE gives candidates one chance to correct any incorrect information in the application form (if any). Candidates can make corrections to their already submitted application form by following the methods as mentioned below.

• Click on the link available for the CTET application form correction
• Enter the application number, password and security pin (as shown in the image)
• Click on the Sign in button
• Click on the application form correction button
• Read the instructions on the page and click on the checkbox at the bottom of the page
• Click on the Proceed for Correction button
• Make the required changes in the application form
• Enter the security pin and click on Submit
• Review the application form
• Click on the checkboxes at the bottom of the page
• Click on the Final Submit button

CTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the CTET-NCTE prescribed eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. The CTET eligibility in terms of education qualification and age limit is shared below-

CTET Eligibility 2026: Paper 1

Candidates need to fulfil any one of the given criteria for CTET Paper 1.

• Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration) OR Bachelor of Elementary Education (4 years duration) OR Diploma in Education (2 years duration). OR
• Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam, securing a minimum of 45 per cent marks and cleared or appearing in the final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration). OR
• Bachelor’s degree with a BEd.

CTET Eligibility 2026: Paper 2

Candidates need to fulfil any one of the given eligibility for CTET Paper 2.

• Graduation and has passed or is appearing in the final year examination of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration) OR
• Graduation with 50 per cent marks with BEd. OR
• Graduation with 40 per cent marks and has cleared or appearing in the final year exam of BEd, according to NCTE regulations. OR
• Senior Secondary or its equivalent test with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of 4 years duration Bachelor of Elementary Education/ B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A/ B.Sc.Ed.
