The OUAT entrance exam stands for Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology Entrance Exam. The purpose of conducting the entrance exam is to hold admission for UG, PG, and Doctoral courses in Odisha, especially in the colleges affiliated to OUAT Bhubaneswar. There are end number of courses available for the students who wish to appear for the OUAT Entrance Exam. OUAT Entrance Exam 2027 Eligibility Criteria will be released with the release of the information bulletin or prospectus. The eligibility criteria were the same as last year. The basic criterion to be eligible for the OUAT 2027 Entrance Exam is that students should have passed Class 12 Board exam or equivalent in the Science stream. The aggregate percentage varies according to the candidate category.

The course-wise eligibility criteria or the subject combination which students should have studied in Class 11 and 12 are given in the table below.

The minimum aggregate should be 45 per cent for UR category and 40 per cent for the Reserved category candidates for Agro-Polytechnic students.

Additional OUAT entrance exam BSc eligibility criteria are mentioned below.

1. Cleared HSC or equivalent examination with Odia as Modern Indian Language (MIL).
2. Candidates who do not have Odia as MIL but their parents are permanent residents of Odisha need to furnish evidence of permanent residency in the form of a certificate from the Revenue Officer concerned, not below the rank of Tahasildar/District Magistrate/their employer concerned.
3. Candidates who do not have Odia as MIL and their parents are also not permanent residents of Odisha, but are serving under the Govt. of Odisha/Central Govt. /Public Undertaking or any University in the State of Odisha. Such aspirants must furnish a certificate that assures the same from the Head of the Office/Institution where their parent(s) is/are working.
4. Odia students permanently residing outside Odisha must furnish a certificate confirming their Odisha origin, either from their Employer/Tahasildar/District Magistrate (of the District in which they are residing). The certificate can also be submitted from the Tahasildar/ District Magistrate of their native place Odisha.

The above criteria (that is point 2 and 4) do not apply to ICAR/VCI nominees/Foreign Candidates/State Govt. sponsored candidates/children of employees of OUAT.

Age Limit: The age of the applicants should not be less than 17 years as on the last day of the year.

OUAT Entrance Exam 2027 Eligibility Criteria for BSc (Hons) Forestry

Applicants for this course have to fulfil the following physical parameters for this course.

OUAT Entrance Exam 2027 Eligibility Criteria for PG and PhD Courses

The OUAT Entrance Exam 2027 Eligibility Criteria for the postgraduate or doctorate level programmes.

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree at a relevant programme such as BSc, BVSc, etc. 
• Minimum Marks in aggregate should be 55 per cent for General and OBC category candidates and 50 per cent for SC, ST and PwD category candidates.

OUAT Entrance Exam 2027 registration will start in March or April 2027. Candidates need to complete application process in two parts: Form A and Form B.

• Pay application fee of INR 2,000.
• Submit form and download e-receipt.

How to Fill OUAT 2027 Entrance Exam Form B?

Candidates can fill OUAT Application Form B after Form A. Below are the steps:

• Visit ouat-lokaseba-odisha.in.
• Log in with registered email ID and mobile number.
• Go to Activity section.
• Select Form B.
• Enter Application Number.
• Enter total marks and marks obtained in Class 10 and 12 in all subjects.
• Select Education Board.
• Choose preferences and submit form.

Candidates do not have to pay application fee for Form B. The application fee is applicable only while submitting Form A.

The OUAT Entrance Exam 2027 will be conducted in computer-based mode. The total duration of exam is two hours. There were 200 multiple-choice objective-type questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology. The first two subjects are compulsory to attempt. The third section was either Mathematics or Biology, as opted by the candidate. Each question carried one mark, and there was no negative marking. The detailed structure of the exam is given in the table below.

The weightage of the third section, or the optional section, was highest.
